It was at least our fifth time at the resort. The beach was incredible as always. I would like to send a special shout out to Jesus and Sam at the breakfast place. Also, it goes without saying that Daniel and Rodrigo were incredible as bartenders and hosts at the meeting point. The daytime activities were perfect, you didn't have to get involved if you didn't want to but could sit and watch. The wildlife was awesome, seeing the monkeys and their families, as well as the Coatis and kitties. The food was better than it has ever been. Samantha and Maria were great as our hostesses, they made our vacation a true vacation. Anyone that complains about waiting for the shuttles must have mobility issues. It is really about 10 to 15 minutes from the farthest point of the resort to the beach. Lewis and Fabian were great at the beach bar. Make sure to appreciate them.

Awesome experience with Adrian!
Adrian is really awesome at the snack place at the blue moon. He pays attention to detail and makes sure that everything is well stocked and has a great attitude when I asked for chips!! He always is pleasant and willing to help with whatever I have asked for!

Outstanding customer service, delicious food, variety in activities for the whole family.
I give 5 stars review because if the outstanding customer service from every employee in the hotel (except for the front desk timeshare). We’ve visited the Playacar area for the last 15 years (we celebrate our anniversary in Playa del Carmen) and this is our 3rd stay in Sandos Playacar. Our experience this time was beyond our expectations. We dined exclusively in the Mexican Restaurant where Yaneli (hostess) and Pedro (manager) made sure we had the best experience at dining in their restaurant. We would love to come back to Sandos next year because of the exceptional service received at the Mexican Restaurant. Special thanks to Victor (bell boy), he made sure to check on us every time we passed by the lobby, he would give us rides to the room and made sure we were having a great time. Lore, at the service desk also offered exceptional service. We only had one bad experience and that was at check in. One of the timeshare employees was rude and condescending to us and insulted my husband while we were in line to check in. Other than that, we have nothing but wonderful things to say about everyone else who works at the hotel. Also, the food in the hotel is amazing! It’s rare to find a hotel that provides excellence in customer service and meal choices, as well as clean accommodations and neatness everywhere, Sandos Playacar has it all.
