    Quality time in Cabo

Great location to walk along the beach, and spend time relaxing in the sun loungers and hammocks, very peaceful not crowded at all. We saw sea lions and pelicans, walked to big rock formations by the arches and did a morning hike at Mt. Solmar. Close enough to marina if you want to visit and great views of Marina as well. My mom enjoyed seeing the cruise ships come in and boat watching! Pools are spaced out nicely and we enjoyed the adults only pool with shaded swim up bar. Entertainment crew encouraged us to participate in some fun activities such as aqua aerobics and a ceviche class which we really enjoyed! The only cons are Tortuga cafe is for Elite vacation club members only and the coffee shop is so far from the pool area and out of the way, but it's worth going to! Wait staff are all extremely polite, and courteous, especially the gentleman who worked at the cupcake coffee Cafe! We were an adult group of 5 looking for a peaceful relaxing getaway, the party loud vibe was not our scene, I could tell the hotel can cater to that crowd if that's what you are looking for but they are also very family friendly, I found it to be a good mix of both and we were able to enjoy ourselves all in peace!

    Cabo 2024

We arrived at Sandos Finisterra before check-in time, after an unusually quick customs process at the airport (traveling on a Sunday is a bonus)! Our ride, Bernie Godoy was waiting for us, with an air-conditioned van and a cooler of cold beverages, and we were quickly taken to the resort. The ride was approximately 35 minutes to get to Sandos Finisterra (no traffic). Upon arrival, we were greeted and given a wristband, an explanation, and map of the resort. While I understand the associate was trying to sell us something, we politely said no and there was no additional pressure. Since our room wasn't ready, we went to lunch at Agave. The food and service were good, which was the case on the other days we were there for lunch. The Cupcake Cafe was a favorite of ours! The americanos, lattes, and cappuccinos were a bright start to our mornings, especially sitting and watching the marina. I was surprised the coffee bar doesn't open until 7 AM. Most mornings there was a line when the staff opened the door, which has to be an overwhelming way to start the shift. The pizza by the pool was also good, we never made it back for the sushi. The dinner at Emiliano's and Don Diego were alright, service and food were so/so. Our favorite dinner was at Tortuga Beach. The food was exceptional and the service was the best we had received the entire week! Do not forget to go to Whale Watchers Bar for a nightcap (or two!). The bartender is fantastic! The pool areas were nice, it didn't appear as though people "saved" chairs, and there were chairs available when we decided to relax at the pool. The service at the pools was also excellent! I can't speak about the afternoon or evening entertainment...we usually don't come for the entertainment. The resort is within walking distance of the marina, the downtown area, and a public swimmable beach. We went to the marina and walked through the downtown one of the days. Walking to the swimmable beach was also very easy and the beach was great especially if you enjoy going into the ocean! We did purchase a glass bottom boat tour to the arch through the resort Seek & Go Tours. While it is not because of the resort, I wish we had gone to the marina and purchased an arch tour. This tour was just alright. They bring you to a store downtown and encourage you to buy "stuff", the check-in process for the tour at the marina was chaotic and very unorganized. The only advantage was that you can use the restroom at the store for no charge- at the marina, you need to pay to use the restroom. All in all, it was a great trip and we enjoyed our week at Sandos Finisterra!

    Armando and Leo 💯

Came here for our honeymoon. Leo and Armando made our stay without them we would have left. Service was bad besides those two. Agave had good steak, surprisingly. Don Diego had good fajitas and the churros were yummy. Armando and Leo really went out of their way to make sure we were happy when everyone else was rude.
