    Fantastic resort.

    The Royalton splash is a lovely hotel, the check in was smooth and the receptionist very friendly and helpful. Our luggage was taken to our rooms and arrived within a few minutes of us getting to the room. We ate in most of the restaurants and also the buffet. The buffet has a good selection of food and was very nice, staff were lovely and attentive. The Teppanyaki restaurant was amazing, the food was piping hot and absolutely beautiful. The chef Guillermo was fantastic, his routine and comedy had us in stitches. I would definitely recommend a visit here. The Italian was also very nice and the waiters really good and attentive. The steak house was absolutely shocking, slow service with mediocre lukewarm food. It took over 2 hours to get through 3 courses. A special shout out to Daniel who works as a waiter by the pool. We had a group of 10 in the 5 swim up rooms near the pool. Daniel looked after us every day, keeping us hydrated. He is a wonderful guy and he even helped me practice my Spanish. Would definitely recommend this hotel.

    Don’t miss this one!

    Hugo and Omar were on it from top to bottom. Omar did a great into and kept the drinks flowing. Hugo made the our experience top frickin notch! From having my dad take part in the show for his birthday to our particular food requests.. this was one of my top 2 hibachi experiences.

    Service better than Food

    Beautiful resort. Lots to offer. And amazing customer service the whole time we stay. JORGE at the front desk working as a BELL BOY was truly so helpful and AMAZING he made it so easy for us to transfer our luggage. I do have to say however the food quality is SO low. I’ve not experienced that unless it was at a Royalton Resort. Consistently mediocre food here, i recommend you never order room service… it’s a buffet style and the food is inaccurate to the description, however the people delivering were such great service. At GRAZIE we met JORGE, our server (yes the same name different person), he was AMAZING he treated us like royalty, their staff overall deserves the credit more than the services they offer for all inclusive food. If you’re looking to stay at Royalton (at least anywhere in Mexico) prepare for the service to be better than the food. And TIP YOUR SERVICE ALWAYS! They made the trip for us more than the resort itself <3 All love but we will no longer be staying with Royalton!

    Great family resort

    We went with a family of 3 adults and 3 kids. The experience started off bumpy with some room troubles but it was all made up by the following people. Jaime and Pablo at the diamond club pool Shadrack who helped us get a prime membership Great food Great service Would be a five star if not for the early room troubles.

    Book somewhere else.

    Definitely far from a 5 star experience. Won’t be back. Terrible coffee. Food was below average. Long waits for the elevator to your room. If you have kids, they will love the water park. Otherwise book somewhere else. The Fives has great food. Riu has great entertainment.
