    Amazing all inclusive resorts for families!

    Our family recently visited an all-inclusive resort in Mexico at Royalton Splash and had a wonderful experience! It was the perfect backdrop for a memorable family vacation. The staff truly made the trip special, especially on our child's birthday. They decorations is what we asked for a Dinosaur theme which absolutely delighted our little one and made his day unforgettable. The entertainment was top-notch, offering engaging shows and activities that kept everyone entertained. My family particularly enjoyed spending time by the good-sized pools. Dining was a pleasure, with a wide variety of delicious food options available to suit every taste. Overall, the resort provided a fantastic atmosphere and excellent amenities for a great family getaway. We highly recommend it!

    Hibachi Chef Arturo

    Hibachi Chef Arturo Rivera was a highlight of our dining experience and trip to Royalton Splash. He entertained us and the food he prepared for us was the best in the resort.

    Very Disappointing Stay

    I chose this resort because of its association with Marriott Bonvoy and booked one of the most luxurious rooms directly through the app, expecting a smooth experience as a Titanium Elite member. Unfortunately, the experience was disappointing from the moment we arrived. Despite no line, check-in took nearly 40 minutes and no upgrade was offered. The room we received was described as an “upgrade,” but it was simply the room we had already paid for. When we walked to the room, our bracelets didn’t work, so we had to return to the lobby to have them reprogrammed. Food was the biggest issue. Restaurant reservations were difficult to secure, and even with confirmed bookings, we waited over an hour for food at multiple restaurants including Taj, Grazie, and Agave. Many dishes arrived half-cooked. We even saw guests walking out because the wait times were so long. By the third day, both my brother and I became sick from the food. To add to this, our late checkout (approved until 2 PM) was not honored. When we returned to our room at 1:45 PM, our access was already disabled. We had to run to the lobby twice to fix it, and staff acted as though they were doing us a favor. The checkout agent even said I “should be grateful” they weren’t charging me for late checkout, even though it had been approved days earlier. There was no apology, no urgency, and no sense of customer service throughout the stay. I’ve stayed at many all-inclusive resorts in Cancun and across the Caribbean, and this has been the worst experience by far. I genuinely hope Marriott reconsiders its partnership with this property.

    terrible never coming again!

    We would not recommend this hotel. They did finally (6 hrs later from check-in) get side by side rooms. The front desk staff was quite rude. They were more interested in soliciting up grades (diamond club) than getting guests checked in to their rooms. The dining rooms had food items that you had to pay for (this is new to us - we have only known of wine being an upcharge). A large portion of the resort was for Diamond club only. Some of the kid activities you were required to pay for such as bowling and laser tag. Excursions were upcharged considerably (4 times more) for non-Diamond club guests. The dining was impossible to get reservations at the restaurants not being a diamond member. We were only allowed to book each morning for the next night. This is the first vacation that I had to eat the buffet every night except for the one night we got the hibachi restaurant. Overall, we would never stay at any property that is by this company.
