  Birthday Celebration

  We had a great relaxing time! Our Butler Romero from Diamond Club area helped us celebrate our birthdays! He was very attentive! He made us feel safe, treated us like family!

  Lovely stay

  Hotel was lovely, could do with a bit of room updating but the grounds are beautiful. We had diamond club and our Butler, Johnny, was fab. He booked our restaurants and was happy to help with all our requests. Checked in on us daily and was a really friendly guy. If you get to choose your butler, request Johnny as he won’t let you down! Buffet was great, especially over the thanksgiving period. Teppanyaki restaurant was our fav and we paid for the fish one, which was lovely.

  Another brilliant stay!

  This is my 4th time back at the resort and am already booked to return again in June. Over the past few years we have seen the hotel always trying to gain feedback and make improvements and on returning some of those have been coming to flurition. Examples being able to book dinner on the app, room upgrades etc. The grounds are beautiful and the grounds staff are always working tirelessly. I want to shout out the pool cleaners who are there day in day out from around 7am nearly the whole day, working with smiles on their faces. They don’t stop. The animation team are always great. Nilson in particular is a huge asset. Encouraging guests to join in and also play along and bring the ‘vibe’ to the vibe team. Brilliant with customers but also helping his team learn and feel confident. Jose at Martini Mix - the best with cocktails. Sandy, Robinson, Gerald and Ramon bring the fun at the pool bar. Also shout out to Antony. The best DJ and playlists, was gutted he no longer does the day time as the music he plays is 👌🏽 Buzzing to be coming back next year!

  Couples Anniversary Trip

  My husband and I traveled to the Royalton for our annual anniversary trip in November. I’ve been to Punta Cana many times over the years and have always stayed at all-inclusive resorts on the Bávaro Beach strip. We booked this trip last minute—something we normally never do—and because the Hard Rock and Iberostar were unavailable, we decided to give the Royalton a try. We did not opt for the Diamond Club or the Hideaway section. Unfortunately, I was not impressed with this resort. At every turn, I felt like I was being told that what I wanted required an upcharge. It’s frustrating to book an all-inclusive only to arrive and discover that so many parts of the property are not actually included. One of the most stressful parts of the stay was trying to make dinner reservations. You can only book through the app, and reservations open at 5:00 p.m. every day. The only times ever available were around 9:45 p.m. Because of this, we ended up eating at the buffet for 3 out of our 7 nights. The beach was also a disappointment. The area designated for regular Royalton Punta Cana guests was lined with sandbags—an eyesore that wasn’t present in the Diamond Club or Hideaway sections. When you travel from the United States, you expect to enjoy the beautiful white-sand beaches and turquoise water, but that wasn’t the case here. On two days, we couldn’t even swim due to sargassum seaweed. Our room was fine, but I wouldn’t describe it as “luxury.” It was a basic hotel room with a garden view of a walkway. The highlight was our housekeeper, who did a great job keeping the room clean and making sure we always had fresh towels. The food was mediocre at best. The workers were pleasant. The towel hut didn't have fresh towels early in the morning and were actually out of towels a few times. Overall, this resort didn’t meet the expectations I’ve formed over years of visiting Punta Cana. For the price and the “all-inclusive” label, I expected a much better experience. We will not be back.

  Fun packed family vacation

  We stayed at r the Royalton Splash travelling with our family consisting of our children, grandchildren, sister and friends. The atmosphere was fabulous from the moment we arrived. Our butler Victor Beras was outstanding with the service he provided from assisting us to our rooms with luggage making sure the accommodations were to our expectations. He booked us dinners with one celebrating a birthday and it was a wonderful experience. The staff helped celebrate too! He was able to book other dinners and they were all amazing and fun. He greeted us and seated us at the restaurants. Can’t say enough about his service for us, anything we needed or asked for he provided. At the beach we were greeted by Joselito and he helped get us seats for all 19 of us. Throughout the day he would drop by and make sure everything was good. Head great conversation and really appreciated what he did for us. Our Sunwing Rep Kenia was great with helping to book some tours and when she was not there her colleagues assisted us. The water park was so much fun for the kids and they loved all the fun things to do there. I would definitely recommend this resort.
