    Birthday Vacation

    Great stay , hotel room was nice , I’ve stayed prior and love the grounds , the pros: hotel room , pool, staff, beach area, valet parking Cons: Atmosphere, no casino, no night life , but everything is within walking distance , Best of all : William at front doors he is a Puerto Rican Icon, have seen him for over 20 years there and make you feel like family ,

    Worst resort experience

    I don’t know where to begin. Overall over priced everywhere you go inside the resort. Room needed maintenance every night. Breakfast 50$ a plate. Pool closes at 9pm, I mean absolutely no entertainment. I mean when you pay 500+ a night. You’d think there would be things to do or a meal or snacks available.

    Perfection!

    August 2025 The Royal Sonesta is the only place I will stay in Puerto Rico. The location is prime, the hotel is beautiful and the staff, namely Wanda ,our waitress,from Aleli Restaurant at our daily breakfast and Luis Ramirez from the front desk , were two of the most beautiful, warm and friendly people we have the pleasure of meeting. I highly recommend you ask for both of them. All of the staff is superb but they both were exceptional. Thank you Royal Sonesta! Read less

    Not the best

    Not the best. I found hairs on the wall of the bathroom. I wish they would have a supervisor checking the work of the cleaners.

    Memorable Service

    I had an amazing stay . I want to give a special shout out to Wanda, Emanuel and Harvey for giving us a memorable experience. You truly made our trip special and we look forward to going back . Thank you for making my birthday trip very special.
