  Fabulous hotel

  Excellent hotel and friendly hotel with staff very helpful and courteous. Variety of facilities available, huge hotel, lovely food. Great entertainment! Would definitely recommend!

  2 weeks has come and gone, what a wonderful time we had!. great staff, good food, amazing beach (with beach club). whole family loved it

  Fantastic hotel

  This was my 2nd visit to this hotel but this time I took my family and some friends as the last time I was here witch was my first time was with my son we had such a blast I just had to come back again with the family and friends and yet again didn’t disappoint me, can not fault the place one bit, they is something to do for all ages and food and drinks available 24hrs, we are booking to go back for a 3rd time and hopefully take more friends with us, all the staff are great, friendly, hotel is very clean they never stop,

  Great staff, food and drinks!

  We go to Riu Tequila every year, and its absolutely great every time. Staff (except for some at the reception) are very helpful and appreciative. The rooms are clean, beds are good (except for the pillows, that are a bit small and soft so I bring my own). Only downside is the slamming of the doors. When leaving the room, the door falls shut, and with a big bang. So we use earplugs to get through the noise. Also: the walls are made of paper, so if the neighbors are watching tv, then you can hear it too. The beach is fantastic, with clear water. Would recommend!

  Great place for a holiday, you will not be disappointed..... Friendly Staff, Great Food & drink.

  Hotel Approx. 1hr from airport, check in was great supplied us all with welcome drink. Receptionist was helpful and luggage was taken to room. Rooms are spacious 2 large single beds pushed together, double sink with walk in shower, balcony with a couple of chairs, a safe for valuables, a well-stocked fridge and optics for supplied spirits. The room are split into larger villas spread of the hotel complex, our villa was close to the pools and the restaurant areas. The hotel grounds and well-presented and looked after. Facilities: Hotel has 1 large entertainment area (approx. half outside) with 2 bars, a large buffet restaurant, steak restaurant, Italian restaurant, buffet style Asian restaurant, outside grill by one of the pools, 24hr sports bar (shows British sport), pool bar & swim up pool bar. All restaurants are excellent, and we didn't have a bad meal in any of them. All drinks and cocktails are good. Hotel also has a shop, but it’s cheaper to walk down the road for any gifts / snacks etc. Also, it has gym and night club which opens after the entertainment is finished. Entertainment: What can I say, indifferent, the party night (neon, white) is great atmosphere and very busy with people turning up from other RUI hotels, grease show & Mexican music show was good. But the rest it was best ok, the kids liked the Rui land shows. Staff: All very helpful and friendly The entertainment staff are always smiling, and they work long hrs., around the pools in the daytime and dancing / singing in the evenings, big shout out to them. You are located approx. 10/15 min walk to the beach, which the hotel does put on a golf style buggy to drop off |& pick up (only duration the day) If you walk you can walk through and use the facilities of 2 other RUI hotels. Tipping, I tipped sometimes, do you have to, Easy answer is no. But the staff are very helpful and pleased when they get some. I special mention the William in the main dining restaurant, he was excellent serving us drinks and tending to all out needs. Great person. Holiday tip, take dollar bills or small Mexican Peso's notes (50 peso's is Approx. £1.90) for tipping. Bring a coffee cup with you as they only supply paper cups for takeaway. This is a family hotel, and we found most guests were friendly. Bad Points and what could be improved, can't think of many really. The senior staff should stamp down on this: People smoking and vaping all over the place instead of the smoking areas, not many do this but the few idiots who think they can do whatever they want do spoilt for most of the guests. Only 2 coffee machines in buffet restaurant, but they will serve you drinks. Sun beds, wasn’t really a problem, but if you got up late there wouldn’t be many beds left, they could do with some more, so in busy periods everyone has a bed. Be warned of the singing birds early in the mornings and possible noisy drunk people walking about late at night. If you pick this hotel most people will generally have a great time, we all did.
