Just steps from the shops and nightlife in Cancun, the adults-only (18+) Riu Palace Las Americas is the perfect place for an all-inclusive Cancun vacation. Step into a lobby that is beyond extravagant, with great columns rising to hand-painted domes in gold leaf and floral designs, a stained glass ceiling, Edwardian furniture in rich satin and extraordinary chandeliers.
All amenities are offered for the first-class traveler: a spa with a rooftop solarium and Jacuzzi, a lavish nightclub with live shows and entertainment, and high-end suites with luxurious furnishings. An infinity pool appears to flow into the turquoise sea framing a white sand beach. Activities include table tennis, volleyball, windsurfing, snorkeling, and more.
Hailed for excellent dining, there is a selection of five à la carteor grand buffet restaurants. Recently revamped menus now offer a wide range of cuisine and finer ingredients at the à la carte restaurants, as well as the incorporation of a vegetarian menu in all restaurants. Fine cuisine is served at Los Arcos Italian restaurant, Sakura Japanese restaurant, Tio Pepe Mexican restaurant, Krystal Fusion restaurant, and a Grill and steakhouse. Domestic and imported drinks are served 24-hours a day and the mini-bar and liquor dispenser in the rooms are restocked regularly.

RIU Palace Las America is an all inclusive resort for the matured traveler. Designed for adults. If you want a place to relax away from noisy kids and families, this is the place for you. Only down part is the room service is very limited. Since they have a buffet open between 7am and 11 pm a full menu or more substantive menu could be accommodated. 3 pools, ocean view, good size rooms. Enjoyed my stay.

Wonderful all-inclusive
The property is immaculate, and the service is outstanding. The restaurants were all delicious. I was so impressed with how the entire staff was willing to do whatever they saw needed to be done. Although it seems expensive at first, when you consider how much you get for the price, it is a great value. I am sorry that the area is experiencing outside violence, but coming from the USA, I think that is something that exists everywhere. Personally, I felt very safe, and I had a great time. Thanks to everyone for their service, care, and attention to every detail!

Another great stay in a Riu resort!
This was our second time at Palace Las Americas, and fifth time in a Riu resort overall. Even with Hurricane Helene skirting by and dumping buckets of rain for a day, the staff did everything they could to make it as good as possible for the guests. We booked a trip to Chichen Itza, the Mayan ruins, through the hotel, and that was incredible. The nightly entertainment was great, especially enjoyed the silent disco night. Food was great, booze flowed freely, and we had a great week!

We needed to be amazed and we were!
My wife and I celebrated our 40th wedding anniversary at your resort and loved it. As background, this was our first time to Cancun and first time at an AI. So to celebrate such a milestone in our lives we needed something really special. We selected Las Americas based on reviews and watching many videos and we are so happy that we did. When we arrived at Riu and entered the foyer it is an incredible sight. It is so beautiful and well maintained. So our entrance encouraged us that we had made the right choice. We were greeted at the front desk by Marie who is such a sweetheart. A lovely smile and great attitude and was so helpful and friendly. She helped us many times during the week and always remembered our names. Several other front desk members helped us as well and they were all wonderful to deal with. Our room was great. We were given a water view room towards one end of the resort so we had a great view. We loved the room. The bed was comfortable. The shower was great. The housekeeping staff was exceptional and always took care of us promptly. When Helene blew thru we had some water in our room and it was quickly cleaned up. I have to mention also, that I accidently left the safe open once with cash and cards exposed, and nothing was touched. We enjoyed every meal. Our favorite was a dinner that we had at the Japanese restaurant, but all of them were good, and we found the buffets very enjoyable. And I have to mention the RIU Fun crew. I'm not a big party guy, but these guys and gals were great. The 2 we interacted with the most were Alex and Johnny, and they were fun, professional, and personable. I must say something about all the staff in general. Everyone had a smile. Everyone was helpful. Every interaction with a staff member was good, if not great. In summary, for such a special occasion we needed to be 'WOWED' and we were. Thank you for making this special celebration so very special.
