We just got home from a week at this resort. We are really happy with our trip! The resort was perfect for what we were looking for! I worried it was going to be much bigger than we like and it was great! Lots of amenities and nothing was far. The ocean and beach were absolutely beautiful. Even if it was a bit windy it was still amazing! The swim up pools were lots of fun! Quick drinks haha Our room was super comfortable and so spacious! The tub was an absolute plus for me. And a king bed is always wonderful. There are an incredible amount of workers at this resort and I’m not sure I’ve ever been to a cleaner place. Everything was so clean and so well taken care of. And every single employee was so pleasant. The food was the best I’ve had at a resort. So many options every single day. We preferred the buffet over dining. We hit up a couple a la cartes but they honestly weren’t worth the wait or the food. I had read reviews saying that before we went and I’d say it was accurate. We were totally ok with it. I think reading that before getting there kind of set the expectations for us. 24 hr Room service is also a nice touch! And the pool grill was super convenient and delicious. Beach had tons of chairs and always to find one! The pool chairs ….it’s annoying! And it’s certainly not specific to this resort but the chair towels at sunrise and to see no one use em ever that day is just annoying. I wish resorts could have more loungers so everyone just had one. We are absolutely happy with the vacation we just experienced and we will definitely return to this resort again!

Lovely Stay
Lovely stay. Staff are so kind. Food is great. Lots of pool space. Entertainment is top notch. We loved Hipoito and Nacho on the entertainment

Royal experience at the Riu palace
Fantastic hotel. We have been o many hotels in Cancun, Riviera Maya and Tulum. This one is the best by far. Attentive staff, modern facilities, flawless experience, many activities, staff is trying very hard to please customers. Beach is absolutely fantastic and just a short walk from hotel with plenty of shade and sun loungers. We never had to run at 6 in the morning to reserve a lounger on the beach however one had to do it for the pool area. Excellent food choices. Again, our concern was food having read reviews for other hotels and it exceeded our expectations. We had a fantastic relaxing vacation. Thank you RIU Palace for the royal treatment. We will be back! Highly recommend you his hotel

Riu Costa Mujeres
We loved the Riu Costa Mujeres. Edgar, made our stay extremely enjoyable. Edgar took care of our family and would highly recommend staying here. We’d highly recommend seeking Edgar at the pool bar for your service. He made delicious drinks and even lemonades for our girls. The service is what sets Riu apart.

Very nice resort
Nice resort. Rooms were a little weird with the shower out on the open. Opaque glass but still. Bathtub was in the way. Great employees. Nice beach. Food was quite good.
