We spent one week at the Riu Jalisco and enjoyed it! The hotel, grounds, restaurants, washrooms were all very clean. Very impressed. The staff was also very competent and very friendly as well.

Excellent Resort. The place was very clean; the food was excellent. The programs were good. The beaches were clean and it was good that the vendors were approached by customers. The handicapped washroom had a light which went off after 7 seconds so that did not make sense. Also the shower had poor drainage, and some of the elevators were frequently not working., but overall, we had a great time.

Terrific EVERYTHING!
Everything about this resort is excellent! Room = excellent / Dining = excellent / Pools = excellent / Beach = excellent / Entertainment = excellent! There is nothing to complain about (except the occasional intoxicated guests who partied too late into the morning). It was great!

Absolutely amazing
The resort, entertainment, staff was absolutely outstanding. It was our first ever trip and it did not disappoint. We will be back and we can’t wait. I will most definitely recommend this resort to friends and family.

The WORST all inclusive I have ever stayed at in Mexico. Food was absolutely horrible. Talked to people who had gotten food poisoning from the Asian and Italian restaurants. There is only one a la carte and it is not good. They don’t let you take any food to your room at all. The food is the worst that I have ever had at an all inclusive. Bed sheets have stains. If you go with kids they push two doubles together so you are in one big bed with your kids in a regular suite. No door one the bathroom, so you have to go into the toilet room to change. No umbrellas on the beach, you have to pay to rent them. Grounds are dirty. Only restock minibar every two days. No shampoo or conditioner. Totally outdated and cheesy with horrible tacky decor. Save yourself some money and go ANYWHERE else. First time at a RIU, and will be our last. We will NEVER go to another RIU after staying here. Disgusting! I don’t know who’s giving these good reviews, but they have extremely low standards. My standards are not anything out of the ordinary. I like clean and decent food and this was neither.
