  Not sure about this one .....

  Xmas break from 21st December to 28th December, mainly to get away from the xmas hype. The hotel is very clean and our room in block 1 (1508) was well appointed. Block 1 is the Tower Block and close to everything. Beds good , bathroom excellent (huge shower) but very uncomfortable sofa. 4 English TV channels and a good view from the balcony. Bottled water avaliable from the bars to take to your room. We just felt the hotel was a bit big for it's boots. As it was a winter holiday and the temperature ranged between 8 and 15 °c during the day and colder at night, there were very limited places to sit inside. The lobby bar was always packed. We did find the sports bar was less crowded and nice for my other half to be able to watch some English football. The entertainment was awful, loud and not great quality so we never used the entertainment area. The main restaurant was huge, long walk to get what you want and get back to you table. We tended to have breakfast in Maria Salina as it was alot smaller and also did a continental breakfast after 10:30. Dinner was ok here but basically the same as the main restaurant. The Italian was my favourite, good starters and you chose your main from a menu. You can book these restaurants as many times as you like on your stay. Never used the snack bar as it was on the other side of the hotel and as weather was not great that area was mostly deserted. The main terrace bar was good and had patio heaters....we needed them. Loads of sun loungers but obviously at that time of year not alot being used. Did swim once outside, pool is heated in the winter, the big pool is very good. Hotel is quite away from the center of Torremolinos, about 2km but only took me 20- 30 minutes walk along the promenade. To sum up, not a bad hotel and you get what it says on the tin. We found all the staff very attentive and helpful. Would we stay here again, I'd say no ....adults only and a smaller hotel suits us better.

  Mixed experience – good room, serious hygiene and food safety concerns Starting with the positives: The room itself was good. We received what we requested, the view was nice, the room was spacious, and the bathroom was also large and comfortable. However, cleanliness was already an issue in the room. The floor was not properly cleaned, with visible hair and dust, which was disappointing for a hotel claiming 4-star standards. Unfortunately, the experience went downhill further in the restaurant areas. The main restaurant is dark and poorly designed, with a very long walk from the food area to the tables while carrying plates, which is impractical and uncomfortable. The food quality was poor, with limited variety, especially at lunch and dinner. Organisation was messy and did not feel well managed. More concerning were the hygiene issues, which are shown in the attached photos: • Dirty plates with food residue presented to guests • Chipped and cracked plates still being used to serve food • Food placed on damaged crockery, which raises safety concerns • Hair/fibres visible on surfaces near food • An insect seen in the breakfast restaurant area during service On day 3, I suffered severe stomach problems and fever, consistent with food poisoning symptoms, after eating an undercooked burger that was pink inside. This significantly affected my stay. Following this, on 31 December, my partner experienced the same symptoms, including severe diarrhoea, which meant we were unable to attend the New Year’s Eve gala dinner. This was extremely disappointing, as it was meant to be a highlight of our holiday. While I cannot prove the exact cause, the combination of undercooked food and visible hygiene issues is very concerning. Drinks were also disappointing. Cocktails, coffee, soft drinks, and juices were low quality, and even basic items such as straws for cocktails were not available. Overall, while the room itself was good, the hotel is badly let down by cleanliness, food quality, and hygiene standards. Based on our experience, I will not recommend this hotel and will not be returning.

  Nice hotel

  Had a lovely stay for a week. The rooms are large modern & beds comfortable. We had a nice view of 1 of the pools. The hotel is spotlessly clean. Food very good, choice of restaurants & varied meal times. Overall it's a great choice. Not fussed on only having 1 pool bar serving drinks, our side of the hotel we were left with pour yourself lager & wine, not a 4 star standard, on a few occasions they had ran out., after finding a member of staff we were sent to another bar...To get any other drinks we had to go to the other end of the resort which was a fair walk. Also I think the tea & coffee should be replenished daily in the rooms, had on arrival but never replaced.. I like a hot drink when I wake so had to buy coffee & milk.. great to have a mini fridge in room. Overall a great holiday & will definitely return.. great sunrise pictures in a morning

  Good Hotel.

  Myself and my partner stayed here for a week, liked the hotel found the food very good, drinks ok, entertainment ok, staff very hard working, friendly and polite, cleanliness very good, Enjoyed the Italian restaurant not so much the Spanish one, If u like walking its all on the flat not a lot around the hotel, 20 min walk shops, nightlife etc, We had a room facing the road was a bit noisy but ok.
