Good but quiet
This hotel is beautiful and the swimming pools are wonderful. The only thing is you are quiet isolated in this area. You are around a 20 minute drive to the main towns of Costa Adeje and Las America's. Taxi's are not cheap but there is a shuttle bus you can use. Myself and my partner found it quite difficult in relaxing every single day but this may be what others really enjoy. It's definitely more for families and those slightly older who want an easy going pace. Food wasn't great ,most days it was cold but there is a large variety of food to eat. Overall staff were pleasant and always happy to clean your room everyday.

Weather was Ace but not the right place
Nice clean hotel, room was spotless. Lots of pools and sunbeds and weather was lovely. However hotel very steep in many areas so maybe not ideal for persons with mobility issues. Didn't find many of the staff overly-friendly, some rather rude, but then I have a face that could cure hiccups, so maybe it was me. Food was bang average, pretty much the same every night and never any rush to clear plates or bring water, especially in Atlantico restaurant. Good views out to sea though and boat trip we went on was well worth the money. The music we endured on a friday night though was more like a rave and for me was way to loud and we were sat upstairs in the card room! Also nowhere to recycle and local shops a steep walk uphill but a good selection once you get up there. The gym was ok but cardio equipment could do with an upgrade, for instance straps on pedals of bikes had broken off but some good weights and machines to use. Have been on a fair few all inclusive and unfortunately this one wasn't one of my favourites.

Average hotel, awful reception manager and spoiler surprise
We have just returned after 5 nights surprising some family already attending. Unfortunately this was ruined by the hotel before we arrived and also after check in after the guy showing us to the room didn’t understand English, we discovered we had the wrong room when shown and he just shrugged his shoulders. We then bumped into the family we were surprising when heading back to reception to get the issue sorted. We moved to the correct room type after some commotion at reception - the reception manager said ‘you you come here now’ in a very rude manor at 1 point suggesting we should have requested a twin. 1) We did 2) we booked a twin and it was all over the booking. Despite the requests and many conversations with reception over email they ignore anything you ask for. The room we ended up in was a twin and above reception and above the entertainment area (mistake). Obviously it’s noisy there from the music etc but we never went to bed before it finished. The issue was the 24 hour lobby bar - everyone moved into this and the noise echoes out as there it’s open to the outside - so people in there till 1/2am are having a great time but the noise echoes out and into your room. There was no difference to the noise level if you had the door open or closed to the balcony - we discovered that the door isn’t insulated and you can physically move the door frame and rock it on the brick work it sits on which is part of the issue. The worse night was the Friday night riu party where the hotel brings in an out side company and outside young Spanish guests in to party the night away - 4 hours of banging disco music and dancers - base base base…non stop. To make space for the people the hotel bring in to party - they clear out all seating, they then put this back at 1am outside your room. We asked to move the next day but the angry reception manager who has no personal skills couldn’t care less. We just ended up arguing as he was so unhelpful. We complained to tui and recieved an apology on his behalf and some money back. The other issue with the room was air con - it broke down every day and we had the engineer out muliple times a day. We did the next day get offered to move rooms however the one we were shown has mould all over the ceiling where the air con blew at it. The air con air and the room stunk of damp. No way we’d stay there. Food was ok, 95% exactly the same options each day at lunch and dinner. Speciality ones were the same, minimal Changes on different days. Drinks were very poor, watered down and awful. The beer was Amstel apparently but didn’t resemble it, nor did it seem To have any affect. Pools are meant to be heated - they are not. Main areas are not air conditioned as hotel it all open and it was very hot Overall a bang average all inclusive, despite a refurb a couple of years ago - it need it again.

Best value for money!
The hotel is big but everything works very smooth and there a plenty of things to do or just relax and look out to the see. Nice beds, good cleaning and decent food makes this a very good overall hotel. Would recommend.
