Jan 25, 2026Bit of a long one but good for families!
We came away for some winter sun with a 17 month old and we're not disappointed. We arrived in the afternoon and the staff were there to help us take all of our luggage to our room. We were checked in quickly and staff were friendly and welcoming. The reception and lobby area was clean and we were told how to make reservations at the I site reataraunt and shown a map with point of interest. The hotel is big and we were travelling with a pram but very rarely had to wait for a lift and we found everything quite accessible even at meal times. Tea coffee water beer and wine are available self service all day every day and there is a 24 hour bar in the lobby which sorted out milk needs for the baby whatever the time. The rooms were clean and spacious and although we were not gaurentees a cot, there was one in our room on arrival. All rooms seem to have showers and there was not a hire facility for a baby bath so will know for next time to pack one. There is a large buffet restaurant and a smaller one nearer the sea which had availability with no wait times and I snack bar which fills the gap in between. You will not go hungry here! The food was hot with a decent selection of breakfast items. Cereal, continental, hot breakfast, omlettes, cakes, tea and coffee and also hosts the dreaded holiday toaster... But all in all we were pleased. Fresh juices and fruit and yogurt are also available. We went for breakfast between 8-9 most mornings and ate at both the main buffet restaurant and antlantico (both offering the same) and high chairs were available at both. The same items are served eday for breakfast but for 7 days we had no complaints. Lunch was also available at both the main buffet restaurant and antlantico - a mix of food but had your standard pizza pasta and chips available for the fussy kids (and husband) and fresh seafood and meats /veg. Huge selection of cakes and icecream available which always went down well ') Dinner was the same and we booked into two of the three available restaurants The' grill' (at antlantico) and the Italian - both were good again no complaints and the staff at all were fantastic. The kids pool was heated and there was a small play area there too We found a soft play up the hill outside the hotel at the shopping area which was reasonably priced also. (near Burger king) and also a vr play shop. Entertainment is standard around the hotel with a large entertainment teams and games and sport available all day - the app was very helpful with times and areas. Although the kahoot quizzes seemed to be based purely on rui hotels, the entertainment was generally fine and catered to the multi national masses. Kids disco is at 5.30 which was a bit early for us but it was colourful and had lots of music which our toodle enjoyed. The middle pool was also heated all day and has a full entertainment programme and there is plenty on at rui fit from aerial yoga and stretching to circuits. All in all we would return as we found the service, staff and grounds great although there isn't much in the local area. Everything is a slight walk although we ventured into costa adeje, an area we know better and this was 18 euros in a taxi each way.

Good but not quite very good
My wife and I stayed here for a week in January. Our first stay at the hotel although we met with another couple who have stayed here for the last three years. We were allocated a family room which was very nice. Comfortable bed, nice bathroom with a separate wc and the walk-in shower was brilliant, one of the best showers I’ve ever had at any hotel. We also had a separate lounge area with sofa, tv and fridge, and two balconies with views overlooking the pools and a sea view. The food was okay without being anything special. It is all buffet style and not always replenished quickly which means some of it is not always hot. We actually found the lunchtime food was better than evenings. Our friends who have stayed several times before said the food wasn’t as good as previous stays. The entertainment was okay. The Michael Jackson tribute and the Friday night show were very good but everything else was average and very similar. The all-inclusive drinks were okay but not premium brands. The beer was average and it would have been nice if there was some cider on but alas not. Overall, we enjoyed our stay, the room was excellent, the hotel in general was very clean and tidy, and most of the staff were friendly and helpful. It was let down slightly by the food and the evening entertainment.

Jan 23, 2026Clean busy resort Everything Ok but didn’t excite.
We have stayed in a number of different RIu hotels but unfortunately this one whilst ok didn’t live up to our expectations. Nothing to really criticise but things were different from previous resorts - all the speciality restaurants were buffet service and the food quality (nothing awful but nothing brilliant) did not meet our expectations. The hotel was very clean and well kept and the animation team and all the bar staff were friendly and worked hard. There was no drinks in the room minibar meaning a trip to the bar for an evening sundowner. Good location with great views and sunsets and a good walking path following the coast.

WOW! Stayed in alot of hotels in the Caneries and this hotel has got to be the best so far! Impressive lobby, greeted by friendly reception staff, easy quick check in. Massive hotel but room was easy to find. Everything was spotless, large room, comfy beds, great shower room with magnifying mirror for make up, could do with extra plug near large mirror and extra set of drawers but wasn't a problem. I know why they call it Buenavista the views are definitely a WOW 👌 Everything is so well maintained & cleaned throughly from the pool toilets to the flowerbeds. The staff absolutely work there butt's off & still greeted with a smile. The Entertainment Staff are on another Level they never stop! We actually stayed in every night to watch it, Micheal Jackson was brilliant & the Neon Night was AMAZING never seen anything like it, was the best night ever. The food was lovely no complaints at all we enjoyed everything 🙌 People complain about the snack bar but it is what it says "snacks" your fed morning noon & night! We caught the bus to Adeje 4 euros bus 471 by the shopping centre. Hard Rocks Sky Lounge is worth a visit for the veiws (card only for drinks) Thank You for an Amazing stay see you again definitely ❤️

Retuning soon
I am so looking forward to returning to the hotel this August 2026, we loved our holiday in 2025 so much that we have re booked, with tui ,my advice to anyone reading this review is get yourself to this resort
