Aug 21, 2025Beautiful views and wonderful place to stay.
We were meant to be staying in the sister hotel, but knew to a technical issue, we were moved to this hotel. The hotel location is perfect to walk into Florence and visit the key sights. Room - the river view bedroom was enormous and very comfortable. The first bottles of water are free and any other used you have to pay for. The bed was huge and we slept very well. There is even a turndown service in the evening. Car park - this is a valet service and if you have an electric vehicle then it’s parked at a different garage. Staff - the staff are lovely and very helpful. The concierge, Walter was very helpful and good to talk to. Plus, Luca who bought our luggage was very sweet. The front desk staff were also very helpful when we had a problem about our car parking. There is an added service charge of 6% to your final bill that is an extra tip to the staff. This is an optional charge and was pointed out when we checked in, so no surprises at the end bill. Overall, we had a great time and would definitely recommend.

Great experience at this hotel. Definitely recommend.
Absolutely great experience and amazing service. Everyone in the staff is very helpful and prompt in solving any request. I definitely recommend this hotel for a stay in Florence. We only spent 3 nights there, next time we will stay longer. The location is great, very close to the city center and good restaurants, and the rooms very comfortable, clean and sufficiently spacious.

Great location, great pool and great views from the rooftop!
We would for sure stay here again. It is a great location in the city, with a great view and pool, plus a really good breakfast. They also have the best room for a family with two rooms and small balcony. The hotel is not in the middle of the town, but walking distance to everything, including Michelangelos Piazza.

Excellent
We had a lovely view facing the river and it was quiet despite a fairly busy road below… we were on the 3rd floor. Everything was excellent, including the staff. They let you customize the tip at checkout. I gave less than recommended but they were still appreciative. It’s a nice customer base, at least from what I could tell at breakfast, which was an extremely good buffet.

Definitely try this hotel
Loved this hotel. Located right in front of the Arno River with beautiful view of the hills across it, this building is beautiful and much larger inside than it looks from the outside. Staff is very helpful, friendly, and accommodating. The rooms are a bit smaller than other hotels, but it is to be expected as this is an older building, but they offer all the normal amenities. Very centrally located, expect to hear some road noise especially if you sleep with the windows open, but that's part of the charm of Florence, Italy in general. Didn't bother us at all. Couldn't enjoy the rooftop as it was undergoing renovations.
