Dec 11, 2025Group Trip = Success!
Our group of 16 (including 5 kids) stayed at Planet Hollywood Cancun for 5 nights in early December. Most of the rooms were booked through Expedia, and the service from Jose “Luis” Perez and David Albahari was outstanding—they helped with all our questions and secured dinner reservations for our large group, which made a big difference. Had we not received the extra layer of care by the Expedia team, our group would have had to split out for smaller dinner reservations or eat from the buffet as open dining reservations were VERY limited in the app. Our one-bedroom director’s suite was spacious and comfortable, with two bathrooms, which was wonderful for 3 females getting ready for dinner! We had no ocean view, but the ‘garden’ view was still pretty. The Hollywood theme added a fun touch throughout the resort! The beach and ocean are beautiful, clean and calm. Very little seaweed, buggy, tiny gentle waves, and not much to see when snorkeling. The kids loved the pools, lazy river, and Flowrider, and the adults had a blast at the night club! We rented cabanas daily and enjoyed having shelter when it rained and our own gathering spot including a little pool. We were provided the perfect lunch assortment tray, and constant, amazing service. Don't forget to tip! Service throughout the resort was excellent, and we never felt less valued because of our bracelet type. We had no problems getting quality beverages or anything else we needed. Don't forget to tip! The only downsides were long lines for coffee and breakfast, due to the resort’s size and limited breakfast & coffee options. And the check-in process was annoying, don't waste time doing it ahead of arrival. Oh, and the bug bites! Compared to the overall experience, these were just minor things to know and be prepared for. Overall, we had an amazing vacation and would definitely consider returning and would definitely recommend booking through Expedia!

It was good. The overall good is good and service. Room food service is okay I did not enjoy it too much, My wife found a bone in her pizza but other wise the restaurants are excellent. My butler Ignacio was specifically amazing. He went above and beyond his duties and made sure we were taken care of. Highly highly recommended getting the star class just for the service. Thank you so much Ignacio, we will be back solely because of the experience you provided to us!!

Butler service is a must!!!
I just left Planet Hollywood. Im going to be honest it is a nice resort, a couple of things that might be helpful if you visit here make sure you ask for a humidifier if will make your stay a lot more comfortable as it is mexico it get very humid! Over all food was very good, service was good. Booking any resturant was so easy over the app. So much to do with so many pools and the lazy river! Both me and my husband were very sick. On the first day I was feeling unwell and texted the butler I needed to go to the doctors, within not even a minute Ignacio the butler was at my door ready to escort me and my husband. He was so extremly kind made sure we were both comfortable the entire stay with bringing us whatever we needed. I truly dont think we would have had such a great experience if it was not for him, we were so sick could barley get out of bed and he made sure we were ok. Thank you so much Ignacio! You are the best! I will be coming back and making sure to book star class just for the butler service.

Wonderful Vacation.
The room are modern, beautiful, comfortable and very clean. We were very comfortable at this resort. Everything was well maintained and clean down to the washrooms. Our stay was made extra special thanks to our wonderful butlers Laura and Trinidad who went above and beyond to make sure we were happy and had everything we needed. Our favourite restaurants were the Steakhouse and the Hibachi. Our only disappointment why we didn’t give a 5 star rating was the lack of entertainment and some of the service at the buffet. But all around a beautiful resort, good food and nice people. Thanks again Laura and Trini ❤️

My butler's Trinidad and Laura were amazing the communication was great they took care of everything we needed. Top shelf
