My family and I come to this resort every year and are always impressed with the service experience. The resort itself is beautiful with the perfect location: right on the beach, 2 pools, amazing lush greenery, 4 restaurants to choose from. It’s conveniently right across the street from the best mall, La Isla, with plenty to do outside of enjoying the beach including a movie theater. Also right across the street from a great pharmacy for basic needs. Carlos in concierge services was very kind to us when we needed to switch rooms for a medical accommodation, and he made sure all of our needs were met for the entire week stay afterwards. A testament to the great service we receive at this hotel. We would gladly stay again.

Jan 24, 2026Lovely stay at Park Royal on the Cancun hotel strip.
An enjoyable week away. The coconut shrimp at Frida’s and Didier’s service was worth eating at three nights. Felix in La Veranda was attentive to our breakfast needs. Juan Carlos, the concierge, took great care of us. And the Wayak massage in the Spa, by Alicia, was to die for! (Be sure to ask for the 25% discount).

Service here was amazing, my husband and I adored Javier as our Bartender! Such a great and welcoming guy, will definitely remember and treasure him.

I don’t really know but all these reviews are quite positive. We had an ok time. I have visited Mexico quite a few times so I may have stayed in better resorts. I’ll try to make this short. Beds were quite hard, didn’t sleep great while there. Buildings didn’t seem the cleanest. We went with two adults and two kids(18 mths&3.5 year old). I wish there were more walking stroller paths so we didn’t have to take an elevator every single time to get anywhere. The food was alright, same thing every day. We stayed for 10 days so it would be nice if there were some different options because eating the same dinners every night got a little bland. Restaurants were good. There was a “snack bar” during the day around lunch and it was only very salty fries, burgers, hot dogs.. or chilli cheese nachos. So I found myself to be quite hungry waiting for other food options to open. It would be nice to get a fresh salad or have other healthy options for adults and kids. The good - staff were nice of course and the mall was right across the street or shopping, entertainment and more dining. The main reason we chose this resort was for the kids waterpark, the kids enjoyed it but would I stay here again? No we won’t be but it was good to try.
