Perfect bliss from start to finish!
Our entire stay at Paradisus Palma Real was utter bliss - like a fantasy. It exceeded our expectation in so many ways - the entire facility is well-maintained and beautifully designed; the food was delicious and easy to access, whether from our room, a buffet restaurant, or an a-la-carte restaurant. But the staff was one of the best highlights - we were assigned a concierge named Eriol who was exceptionally welcoming, kind, attentive, helpful and he went above and beyond in several ways to ensure we had anything we needed or wanted to make our stay more enjoyable. We were surprised by all the activities and entertainment (music, acrobats, crafts, wine tastings, etc.) that made our stay all the more interesting and enjoyable.

Paradisus Palma Réal The Reserve - Highly recommended for couples seeking an upscale beach escape.
Paradisus Palma Real – Adults Only “The Reserve” (November 5–14, 2025) Upon choosing Paradisus Palma Real in Punta Cana, my wife and I were initially hesitant about the resort’s scale. However, staying at The Reserve—the adults-only section—transformed our experience. This area brings the resort down to a human scale, offering a self-contained oasis with everything one could wish for, and then some. Tennis courts were conveniently located a short walk away at an adjacent property, and the same area hosted the spa’s hydrotherapy pools. That said, excellent spa services were also available directly onsite. Guests can also enjoy a 27-hole golf course or access the renowned Rafael Nadal Tennis Center, both available for an additional fee. What truly sets the resort apart is its people. Every staff member went out of their way to know us and ensure our comfort. A special mention goes to Martin, the best beach valet we’ve encountered in over 30 years of all-inclusive travel. His personal attention elevated our stay—our favorite beach spot was always ready, with fresh towels, drinks flowing, and everything impeccably clean, even on days we were away on excursions. We’d also like to recognize Gustavo, Barnelis, and Luz along with the entire crew at Santé, our preferred spot for breakfast and lunch just steps from the beach. Barnelis, the always-smiling hostess, set the tone each morning, while Luz and Gustavo made sure service flowed perfectly throughout our meals. Their warmth, professionalism, and attention to detail made dining there an absolute pleasure. Evening dining options were varied, including Japanese hibachi, Mexican, Italian, steakhouse, and international buffets. Most dishes were well executed, though not extraordinary—admittedly, our expectations are high as seasoned foodies. The fine dining restaurant, curated by local chef Leandro Díaz, offered refined takes on Dominican specialties and was a pleasant highlight. However, the overall evening dining service fell short of the resort’s otherwise high standards, which slightly impacted our overall rating. Members of the hotel’s loyalty program enjoy a private area and an extended wine list accessible via points or direct payment. While the table wines (red, rosé, and white) were decent, true wine enthusiasts may prefer to explore the premium options. Facilities throughout the resort were exceptional: multiple clean and expansive pools, many featuring swim-up bars; a well-equipped gym suited for maintaining fitness routines; and effortless access to non-motorized water sports equipment (with a refundable deposit). The Reserve guests also benefit from dedicated concierge service—ours, Yaleidy, consistently demonstrated care, attention, and professionalism. Although our late flight arrival delayed initial check-in and the orientation tour, everything was quickly remedied the next morning. The resort also offers hospitality showers for guests with late departures—a thoughtful touch. The beach itself was spectacular: clean, beautifully maintained each morning, and thoroughly enjoyable throughout the day. Entertainment staff kept things lively with optional activities at both beach and poolside. In short, Paradisus Palma Real delivers a luxurious and relaxing experience where service excellence stands out, facilities impress, and staff genuinely care. While a few aspects of dining and evening service could improve, the overall experience far exceeded expectations. Our rating: 4.8 out of 5. Highly recommended for couples seeking tranquility, attentive service, and an upscale beach escape.
