Horrible Vacation (Roaches)
Location was good. Food wasn’t good, but Dominican is a different culture for us. Out 2 bedroom villa with swimup Room looked very nice, clean and beautiful; however, we found many roaches crawling around our room. Looks can be deceiving. We found roaches crawling on tables, floors and chairs in the restaurants. Beware!!! Restaurant staff was very unwelcoming and unfriendly. The housekeeping staff and wait staff incredibly rude and rolled their eyes at my family many times. The communication barriers are awful. I asked for face cloths 6 times and they never brought them or only brought 2. We packed our things after 3 nights and went home. We lost several thousand dollars on flights and the 2 nights were paid for out of pocket. I’ve never had such a horrible vacation or experience and I’ve travelled to Caribbean and Europe. Resort needs a complete overhaul. The only thing good about this whole trip was our concierge Jendry. He was absolutely amazing. You have a very good worker and employee. He deserves a raise. He went above and beyond.

A Personalized Luxurious Experience For the Entire Family
My family and I have been traveling to Punta Cana every January for the past five years. We have stayed at several resorts and experienced many beautiful properties, but Paradisus Palma Real is the one we return to again and again. From the moment you arrive, you feel that this resort offers something special. The grounds are stunning, elegant, and immaculately maintained. The pools are expansive, the beach is beautiful, and the atmosphere is calm, luxurious, and welcoming. Yet what truly sets Paradisus Palma Real apart is not only the property — it is the extraordinary level of personal service. Upon arrival, we were assigned a personal guest concierge, Ana Azcona, and she was absolutely exceptional. Ana immediately expedited our room assignment and ensured that our arrival was smooth and stress-free. Although we arrived prior to official check-in time, she arranged for our wristbands right away, had our luggage safely stored, and encouraged us to enjoy lunch and the pool so our vacation could begin immediately. Once our room was ready, Ana personally followed up to confirm that we were happy with the room location and setup. Shortly afterward, she surprised our family with a generous selection of snacks and drinks delivered directly to our room; a thoughtful gesture that made our children especially happy and made us feel genuinely welcomed. Throughout our entire stay, Ana Azcona checked in with us regularly, always making sure that every detail was perfect. She arranged all of our specialty restaurant reservations, coordinated our plans, and provided her personal mobile number so we could reach her at any time by phone or text. Every request was handled quickly, graciously, and with sincere care. Her warmth, professionalism, and attention to detail elevated our vacation into a true luxury experience that felt completely personal. One of the most meaningful aspects of our stay was how beautifully the resort accommodated our family’s kosher dietary requirements, something that can often be difficult when traveling. We were introduced to the head chef, Chef Pedro, whose dedication and kindness were truly remarkable. Chef Pedro personally provided me with a brand-new frying pan and utensils, asked me to keep them in our room, and instructed me to bring them with me to each meal and specifically request him. He carefully sourced kosher ingredients for my approval and then prepared our meals fresh in front of me, ensuring full transparency and complete comfort. His professionalism, patience, and genuine desire to make sure our family could dine comfortably allowed us to relax and fully enjoy every meal together. Because of Chef Pedro, our dietary needs were never a concern — they were treated with respect, dignity, and care. We choose Punta Cana for our annual family vacation and have many resorts available to us, but we continue to return to Paradisus Palma Real because of people like Ana Azcona and Chef Pedro. From the moment we arrived until the moment we left for the airport, they truly pampered us and made us feel valued and appreciated. not only is this a beautiful resort; it is a place where hospitality is genuine, service comes from the heart, and families are made to feel at home. Thank you, Paradisus Palma Real, and especially Ana Azcona and Chef Pedro, for creating memories our family will cherish forever. We are already counting the days until our next visit.

Fun time in Punta Cana!!!
We stayed for a week in mid January. The hotel is absolutely beautiful. We had a junior swim up suite. Loved the fact that we had our own private patio pool side. We stayed in building 50. Perfect location. The pool bar was directly in front of our unit. Jose was our bartender all week. He was awesome. Drinks were delicious and he took care of his customers. The 5 restaurants on site that you need nightly reservations for were all amazing. Food was perfectly proportioned. The buffet you can eat all day long and those food options were never ending. So much to choose from. Big thank you to our concierge Ana. She was amazing. Anything we needed plus more she made sure our experience was unforgettable.

We enjoyed our time at the Paradisus Palma Real....for the most part
We had a good time but there were a few moments that were a bit frustrating. First the good.....the resort is very clean and well maintained. The pools are cleaned regularly. The rooms were very nice and also well maintained. We had a nice view of the ocean and adults only pool from our balcony. The minibar was regularly stocked which was nice. The quality of the food was generally quite good. The staff were quite friendly and accommodating. Nice layout to the resort and we were never far from anything. Wifi was probably the best we've experienced at a resort. Some of the challenges we faced were at check in. We had booked a room with a king sized bed, but were told upon arrival that there were none available....adding that they don't guarantee king sized beds. That was odd. We were then told that we'd be moved on Tuesday to a different room, but that never happened....and they seemed surprised when we asked again. While dining was good, trying to get reservations was not easy. The app is not helpful, so we had to line up with others with the hope of getting into one of the a la carte restaurants. Other than breakfast, we are not a fan of buffets. A stand out for lunch was Kanna. Very nice. While staff were good, there was sometimes a lack of staff in high flow areas like the bars. We were south in July and experienced the full brunt of seaweed season. It was better recently but still far more sargassum than we've experienced in the past. That was disappointing. The beach was clean and well maintained. There were lots of kids in the adult only beach area so if you're looking for quiet, you may be a bit put off. Costs were reasonable and expected. There was not a lot of upselling, so that was good.
