We really enjoyed our stay here. The location is fantastic, the access to the ocean is amazing and the staff is really great, particularly Nancy and Brenda in housekeeping and all the staff at the Hula Grill.

A Gem, Will Defintely Come Back!!!
This was our first stay at Outrigger Waikiki and we had a terrific time. Beautiful view from the 14th floor. We have previously stayed at the Sheraton Waikiki and The Royal Hawaiian, both nice but the service at Outrigger was exceptional so we will chose to come back here next time. Every Outrigger employee we encountered was friendly, helpful, and focused on enhancing the customer experience. We felt treated like they would want their family to be treated and saw everyone being treated that way. The hotel rooms are being remodeled so there was a very minor amount of noise only because they were working on the room directly above us (otherwise we would never have known) but it was during the middle of the day when we were mostly out of the room anyway. Food was consistently good. Housekeeping does a great job, everything was very clean. Appreciated that we always received a thank you for tips, they were never expected. We look forward to coming back soon!!

The perfect place in Waikiki
The Outrigger Beach Resort is such a great place to be in Waikiki. It's located in the best spot in Waikiki, it has amazing restaurants like Duke's and Hula Grill and the cherry on top is that the Blue Note is inside the hotel. They have great shows and when the show is over you can head straight to your room or pop into one of the great restaurants. The rooms are a bit out dated, but they are renovating them as we speak. It should only get better.

Clean and well-maintained rooms which are a bit dated. Think 1980s chic. The beach is clean, but renting chairs is expensive. Small pool for the size of the hotel. The lobby and restaurants can be very busy at peak times. The hotel is steps away from major shopping and dining options. Duke's restaurant is located within the hotel, and is worth stopping by for a drink or lunch.

Week in Waikiki ☀️🌴
We spent a week in Waikiki at the Outrigger Beach Resort and couldn’t have been happier with our stay. From the moment we checked in, we felt right at home. Despite arriving around midnight (because travel always has plans of its own), check-in was seamless and stress-free. The staff were consistently friendly, welcoming, and genuinely eager to make sure we had a great experience—no forced smiles here. We stayed on the 11th floor with an ocean-view room, and the view alone felt like it deserved its own five-star rating. The room was clean, quiet, and comfortable, which is exactly what you hope for after long beach days and even longer walks around Waikiki. The location truly can’t be beat. The hotel is right on the beach—no long walks, no “beach access” a few blocks away, just step outside and you’re there. There are several restaurants on-site, including Duke’s, which is a vibe all on its own. The food was so good we may have “accidentally” eaten there more than once. Step outside the hotel and you’re immediately on Waikiki’s main strip, surrounded by shops, restaurants, and everything you could possibly need. We walked everywhere and loved every minute of it. Outside of the hotel, our Waikiki experience was just as great. One money-saving tip: use public transportation. The bus was $3 per person compared to $60–$80 Uber rides—an easy decision. We even took the bus to and from the airport and spent the savings where it really mattered. The W Line picks up along Kuhio Avenue, just one block over from Kalakaua Avenue, making it incredibly convenient. We also rented a vehicle for the day to explore the island, which we highly recommend. Seeing Oahu beyond Waikiki is a must—it’s absolutely beautiful and well worth the drive.
