Mediocre at best
Overall, the hotel was just average. The staff and food were what you’d typically expect from an all-inclusive—not bad, but nothing memorable either. Where the property really fell short was the amenities. Many areas feel outdated, worn down, and long overdue for renovation. Honestly, this hotel was probably due for a refresh 15 years ago. We paid around $130 per night, and at that price, it felt acceptable. But if you’re paying anything significantly higher than that, you’re not getting good value—I don’t care what time of year you visit. For a more enjoyable experience, I’d strongly recommend spending a little extra and choosing a more modern resort.

Location and friendly staff !
Location location location! All was excellent. From the breakfast, to snacks, to bars. The ocean and the beach are the best spot on Zone 1. As well, any time I needed something I’d I ran into issues, I flagged it to Jose. He surely knows how to take care of clients and can easily have things fixed. I have been coming here three times or four times a year and I am likely coming back mid-December. Thanks for all the memories !

Lovely Beach, But the Hotel Falls Short
There are several areas that need improvement. The food variety and quality could be much better, and overall maintenance also needs attention. It’s clear the resort is short-staffed—calls often go unanswered, and getting help at the front desk usually means waiting in long lines. The card magnet system is unreliable and needs urgent fixing. The rooms also have issues; they feel old, have humidity, and an unpleasant smell. While the beach itself is beautiful, the beach service and amenities were disappointing. On a positive note, the service from some staff members was exceptional. The waiters Secundino, Miguel (Italian restaurant), Carlos (Mexican restaurant), and the breakfast host Isabel were AMAZING. Their kindness and professionalism truly stood out. Unfortunately, based on my experience, I would NOT recommend this hotel.

Great family trip
We stayed here in the family suite. We booked this resort specifically because they had a big family suite. Kitchen, living room, has two bathrooms, separate attached room for the kids. It was the whole reason we booked the resort. My daughter fell in love with the kids club employees on day one. They made slime what more can I say. She didnt care she was the only kid most of the time. She's 11. We spent most of the day doing all the pool activies. She won so many prizes. Noellia and Felix, fernando are amazing pool activty employees. They knew my kids names from day one. The beach was beautiful no sea weed at all tons of chairs. We did parasailing right off the beach. It was a pretty good price considering we have done it before in other countries we were fine paying the $150 for 2 people. We took the ferry to isla mujeres for a day and rented golf carts to explore the whole island it was so fun. You can go to the beach clubs free as long as you spend money on food and drinks. Everything was so good. The resort had no hot tub which would have been nice at night or on the cloudy days. The food was ok. There was something for everyone and no one went hungry but I have been to so many other resorts that the food choices just didn't compare. Although if you get a reservation at the restaurants the dinner were great. It's just the buffets that are just ok. For what we spent for four people all inclusive we can't complain. BU we probably would not come back if we didn't have the kids with us. Get the premium club you can check out later and also can make dinner reservations in advance. Also they have a spot for unlimited bottled water and snacks just for premium club. Viva Mexico !
