    Feels like home.

    Second trip here and already booked the next. It's not perfect and shows it's age in places but it's a very comfortable resort. Feels homey. The ala cart restaurants are ok. Very small portions. Order 2 maybe 3 entrees. Hippolito and Wendy at the royal restaurant and their crew are wonderful as is Enrique and the crew at the royal beach bar. So many repeat customers it's like a family.

    Friends vacation

    Beautiful beach and lots of activities. Pool was huge and very nice with swim up bar. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. Food was not the best as to be expected from a resort but even the restaurants were a little disappointing. Lots of options tho. We did a snorkeling excursion with the resort that was good. Overall really enjoyed our stay!

    Staff are all warm, peaceful atmosphere, very nice beach, room is clean, their gym is very nice as well, food is also delicious!

    Wonderful vacation. Beautiful people

    Wonderful time. Great staff. Clean rooms. Had a few issues at check in but it was still a wonderful vacation. Beautiful beach.

    Terrible experience! I don’t recommended to anyone!

    Terrible experience! We stayed at the hotel for a week, and the lady in charge of restaurant reservations, Motta, was completely unhelpful. We gave her our availability every day and she never managed to make a reservation. We even tipped her $60, but it felt like she expected even more just to do her job—or rather, to do nothing at all. The cleanliness was horrible: bathrooms had mold, mildew, and limescale; the walls were dirty, glass surfaces covered in fingerprints, and the whole room was dusty. The air conditioning barely worked. We called the front desk several times and when a technician came, he said it needed cleaning but never did it. If you have allergies, this is definitely not your place. The food was misleading. I ordered a stuffed pastelón, asked if it was chicken, and they said yes—but it was crab. My mouth started itching and my eyes watered immediately. I’m allergic to seafood, and thankfully I had my medication with me. Otherwise, things could have gone very wrong. Everything was simply terrible. I wouldn’t return, and I don’t recommend it to anyone looking for peace, comfort, or a truly relaxing vacation.
