Outstanding Resort
Beautiful resort. High level of service and wonderful amenities. The rooms were well appointed and quiet. The resort staff keeps the common areas immaculate. Pools have many umbrellas if you’re looking for shade. The cuisine everywhere in the resort lives up to Nobu standards.

Highlighting Service / Senen • Amazing Stay — Thanks to Senen! • Top-Notch Service from Start to Finish • Incredible
An exceptional experience at Nobu from start to finish! Our group of eight had an amazing stay. The service was warm, professional, and incredibly attentive. Every dish at the restaurant was beautifully prepared with fresh ingredients and unforgettable flavors. The atmosphere was elegant, relaxing, and perfect for our group. A very special thank-you to Senen, who took such great care of us throughout our stay — including helping prepare the watch pickup for us today. Your thoughtful support and attention to detail made everything smooth and truly memorable. We enjoyed every moment and can’t wait to return. Highly recommended!

What a disappointment
For a five-star resort, I was profoundly disappointed by several aspects of our stay. From the moment we arrived, the hospitality and attention to detail fell far short of the standard we expected. While we observed other guests receiving welcome drinks and towels, we were not offered anything. We had been assured in advance that we would receive early check in, yet upon arrival at 1:00 PM we were told no rooms were available and the front desk could not determine who had promised us that accommodation. By 3:08 PM, we still had not received any notification that our room was ready. It was only after I personally approached the desk that anyone began investigating the delay. Once we finally checked in, the room itself was beautiful, but certain areas of the bathroom appeared molded, which was disappointing and concerning. The following day, we encountered what was arguably the most alarming experience: we witnessed mice near the waterfall closest to the residences. When I raised the concern, I was told that “rats are normal in Mexico” and was then compared to “turtles and whales.”The comparison was absurd, and I found the dismissal shocking. At a luxury resort averaging nearly $1,000 per night, on top of $300–$400 daily in dining costs, I expected at least acknowledgment, if not corrective action or reassurance. There was no apology, no compensation, merely, “We’ll notify maintenance.” The response was incredibly disappointing. Service issues continued throughout our stay. Our concierge was rarely available and not on property. He assured us he had secured dinner reservations, only to message us 20 minutes later to say they were no longer available. While he was slowly attempting to resolve this, we walked to Muna on our own to see if they could accept walk-ins. Oddly, despite having been denied a reservation, the restaurant was nearly empty, with only six tables occupied, and we were easily seated. Ultimately, we chose to dine elsewhere. On our final morning, we enjoyed breakfast—the food was excellent, but even departure was unnecessarily stressful. Although our scheduled pickup time was 9:47 AM, we were called at 9:23 AM and informed our transportation was leaving us. This was especially frustrating since multiple check-in points exist before reaching the property, and the bell staff typically calls once transportation has arrived. Throughout the entire trip we were notified appropriately until this moment. It felt careless and almost intentional, which was upsetting given it was the last memory of our stay. Overall, the aesthetic of the hotel is stunning, though it has an oddly eerie feeling as you rarely see many guests at once. Unfortunately, the service was far below luxury standards. Several front desk employees behaved dismissively, even condescendingly. I can’t help but wonder if we were treated differently because we booked through Delta Vacations instead of directly through Nobu. What was meant to be a celebratory birthday trip for my soon to be husband turned into a major disappointment. I genuinely expected a far higher level of service, professionalism, and hospitality from a resort of this caliber.
