The memory of writing reviews weeks later can be tricky due to rain fog, but the staff stood out clearly hence my need to write something. George greeted us warmly and a young woman (possibly Olga, or Maria) who went above and beyond with genuine care and thoughtfulness. We also met Danae who was also warm and accommodating. We have stayed in countless hotels worldwide, and we both agreed that they made the top 5, and between us we have seen over 60. The Melina Hotel’s location is ideal: central enough for easy access to Athens’ sights and a pleasant walk to the Acropolis, with plenty of nearby eateries and shops. Our standard room was modest but comfortable, a reliable retreat after our busy days of exploring. Would I return? Absolutely. The Melina offered a human centred hospitality that enhanced the city experience more than any extravagance. If you meet that outstanding young front desk professional, you’ll understand why this stay felt special.

I would like to say thank you to reception and kitchen staff that looked after us. We originally booked other 5* hotel and due to their refurbishing, transferred to Melia, but we have no regrets. WE been looked after with care and support. Staff at reception is very friendly helpful and patient. There is a spa on roof top floor and kids used it along with gym and outdoor pool, pool is cold but we gave a go, running afterwards into steam room!! it was soo much fun for kids!! Restaurant we had dinners at - served us amazing food. Staff there is truly caring and valuable to hotel. Our stay would not be that perfect without the restaurant. We had late return from excursion to Meteora and kitchen delivered food to our room on return - its was priceless gesture, it made me feel soo looked after - MASSIVE THANK YOU. And as if this not enough, on check out, as we missed 1st dinner due to arrival at mid night, kitchen prepared for us take away dinner, packed, so we went to OAKA and had our early dinner there, all packed by Melia Hotel!!! Thank you for making our trip to Athens sooooo AMAZING!!! It be truly remembered with gratitude, fun and loving memories!!! Whole trip to Athens was amazing!! i truly csn not fault anything!!! I would with no doubts , return to this hotel having breakfast and dinner included - it was great!! Highly recommend to anyone who wish to be filled spoiled and looked after!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ A Perfect Stay -- Warm Hospitality, Spotless Facilities, and Exceptional Service
Our stay at Meliã Athens was truly exceptional from start to finish. Every part of the experience made our trip memorable, and we would happily return. One of the absolute highlights was coming down to breakfast each morning and being greeted by Melina's warm smile. She made us feel welcome, cared for, and genuinely special every single day. Her kindness set the perfect tone for our mornings. Stella was another standout member of the team. Nothing was ever too much trouble for her. She made sure that every need we had was met quickly and with such friendly professionalism. These two lovely and accommodating individuals made a huge difference to our stay. We also want to acknowledge the excellent support from the Reception team, who were consistently helpful and efficient. Whenever we contacted the hotel by email--before and during our visit--the responses were immediate and always answered our questions clearly. The cleanliness throughout the hotel was outstanding. Every space felt fresh and well maintained, giving a real sense of comfort and care in the hotel's standards. The breakfast buffet was amazing, and one of the best I've ever experienced in a hotel of this standard. The food quality in both the Mondo café and Sky Lounge Rooftop restaurant was also wonderful. Everything was well prepared and delicious, and the service was consistently good. The facilities were another highlight. • The gym was spotless and well equipped. • The rooftop pool was immaculate and beautifully maintained. Despite our visit being in late October/early November, the pool was open thanks to the great weather, which was such a pleasant surprise and made our stay even more enjoyable. Overall, Meliã Athens exceeded our expectations in every way. The warmth of the staff - especially Melina and Stella - the cleanliness, the food, and the facilities all contributed to a perfect stay. We are truly grateful and look forward to returning in the future.

A touch of class !
A terrific hotel situated just out from the city centre near to local restaurants. The hotel is immaculate, with its roof top bar and pool . The staff are willing to help with enquiries and advice. Melina too was exceptionally helpful and pleasant.
