    Do NOT stay here with kids! Not family friendly

    Not the family friendly resort we were hoping for. We stayed w/ our 2 boys ages 5 & 7 after reading they had a lot to do for kids. There were no activities like other resorts we have been too. Also the “kids club” they advertise is a small old room in the back of one of their restaurants with a bunch of old toys thrown in it. My kids saw it and said no, and I couldnt blame them. The pool was dirty at times with algae on the bottom you could feel with ur feet, used bandaids and bugs floating. The room was clean, and housekeeping probably the best thing I can say about this hotel. Restaurants were overpriced and just okay food. Location is in the marina which is nice if that’s what area u want but a solid 20-30 min ($200 peso) cab ride one way to downtown depending on traffic. I complained to management upon leaving and they just said “yes ur right we have no kids area we’re working on it” than why do u advertise u do!! do NOT stay here with kids!!! Besides the pool, there was nothing for kids to do -and definitely no kids club!

    We stayed 7 nights for a large golf tournament. Check in service was great. We paid for an upgrade and do not feel it was of value. We over looked an alley way on the side of the building. Service at the pool was great. Ask for Raul, hands down best pool server. Our rooms were very clean as the whole property was. Delicious coffee and pastries at the coffee shop. We will be back next year !

    Perfect place to have some R&R

    Actually I am getting ready to go to Puerto Vallarta in a few days but we go every year and we always stay at the Marriott. The location is great because it's not in the Hotel Zone (which has SO MANY hotels... and people) and it's relatively close to the airport (but not close enough to be worrysome) which makes it easy to get there. The staff members are so sweet and helpful. The rooms are always spotless and their restaurants are among the best in the area. We always have an amazing time and we love this place so much. It has become an annual tradition!

    Viva Mexico!

    We have visited this resort for many years. The upgrades to the pool and restaurants are impressive and they are not done. We loved the adult pool and were spoiled by Saul everyday. He made sure our drinks were never empty and helped us decide on food and snacks all day long. We look forward to seeing him and his great personality next year. Andrea handled the busy breakfast buffet like the professional she is, making eggs to order and smiling the entire time. We love being able to walk to the marina or stay at the resort for dinner. Bring a refillable water bottle as they have added filtered water stations. A couple hiccups with the elevators but the staff handled it so well. Would love a pillow menu option for the rooms. Looking forward to seeing the additional upgrades next year.

    Lovely, just BRING BACK OLD LOBBY BAR MENU

    TLDR: LOVELY hotel and people, bring the OLD LOBBY FOOD BACK AND DELI BACK. I’ve been coming here for 12 years, and have seen the hotel go through changes like any place would. They recently renovated the pool area which is lovely, but the lobby bar is really SUFFERING with the new restaurant Marieta. No one likes the food or frequents there anymore. The staff who works the lobby bar is suffering because no one wants to eat there. (Menu attached) Bring back the ceviche, the mini burgers, the wings to the lobby bar. No one wants croquetas, tuna salad, or that type of food. Also, please bring back the paninis and pizza at the deli. DO NOT make this an all inclusive quality will go down so much. Also please don’t get rid of or change Las Casitas. Everything else was FANTASTIC, but PLEASE bring back the old menu to the lobby bar. I hope others speak up with reviews as that’s the only thing that’ll help change. I know others feel very similarly to me!
