  Very solid Marriott near the airport

  Nicely updated full service Marriott located near the airport in a more modern part of Lisbon that is predominetly resendential and commercial. Rooms are generously sized and comfortable with somewhat limited storage space and seating. Food and beverage good. Service is friendly and helpful.

  Disappointed in service

  When we arrived at 6 pm we asked for an upgrade due to our Marriott status but were told the hotel was full and other rooms available. Instead they offered the executive lounge for $50 total rather than $50 each. This access was supposed to provide wine, beer until 8:30 and tapas until 7:30 . Also breakfast starting at 6am in the lounge or 6:30 in the restaurant. We hurried down after depositing our bags in the room. It was 6:30 and the tapas buffet was decimated. We ask the attendants if they would refill and they sort of shrugged and walked away we asked one to bus a table so we could sit and we were told to go sit outside because they didn’t have time. The tapas were meant to consist of a small salad bar, some charcuterie with bread and 2 hot dishes. The bread was never refilled, the salad bar was replenished with lettuce but no other ingredients, the charcuterie was only replenished with salami, no cheeses and the hot dishes were dry from sitting too long. There were also some single serve bowls but we don’t know what they were because they were never refilled. Needless to say we were very disappointed. One of the attendants spent the entire time we were there refilling a min fridge with water, soda etc even though it wasn’t empty and so many other things were awaiting attention. She literally would walk into the back grab four bottles and walk back out to put them in and then repeat that over and over, instead of filling a tray or cart and making a single trip! She was obviously trying to appear busy when really doing nothing. We had a very early flight the next am so we went into the lounge at 6 am to grab a bite. There was nothing set up and the coffee machine was “asleep” and had to be waked up and heat, a process that took almost 10 minutes. Overall a waste of $50. The room was nice, clean and quiet but the fiasco with the lounge and food soured our experience. When checking out in the BonVoy line there was a delay so it was taking sometime more than normal. The other person at the front desk didn’t step up to help even though they were not waiting on anybody, literally staring straight down and never making eye contact. Not what I expect at a hotel of this caliber.

  Nice stay in Lisbon

  Super nice stay. Room was spaceious, with all the needed amneties. Breakfast was nice. Executive lounge is very pleasant. Hotel staff is very friendly and thw location is close to city center (uber 7-8eur).

  Wonderful Hotel

  Had 1 night stay. The room is spacious and clean. The breakfast is great & wide variety with local ( Portuguese ) pastries .

  Great Experience. Thank you Diego for providing great service at check in.

  We had a wonderful stay at this Marriott property. The rooms were very spacious and had many amenities that most hotels are cutting back on. The service was outstanding from our check in With Diego who was extremely accommodating and made sure we had a great experience to the breakfast service staff. Everyone was very friendly, engaging and hospitable. I would definitely stay here again.
