    A wonderful stay

    What an amazing location for this beautiful hotel, right on the prom and in the middle of everything. Bedrooms nice and quiet. We has a stunning sea view through panoramic window. Nice bathroom and shower. Lovely coffee maker and easy to get more coffee. Overall, a wonderful stay.

    Mold in the Bathtub and Non-Responsive Management

    This is an true and accurate account of what transpired during our stay recently at the Le Meridien in Nice, France. Issue relates to mold in the bathtub. First reported the issue after check in Dec 28th. - Reported again on Dec 29th since issue was not taken care of. - Reason for reporting was, the bathtub was used by a 2 years old and this became a health hazard. - Reported again through an email for the 3rd time on our 4th day at the hotel to Director of Operations Julie Gutmann. - Not even a courtesy acknowledgement by anyone. - After this, bathtub was partially cleaned. Still there was mold. - Let hotel staff know for the 4th time. Only then the day before our stay ended, the bathtub was completed cleaned. - I asked for a room change after the 1st night, on the 29th. - I was informed by the front desk clerk room change wasn't possible. - I wasn't even offered a refund, which i asked for, so I could find another hotel. This was denied. - No accountability from anyone at the hotel, when an email was sent with pictures or when the front desk was informed of the mold in the tub. - Wasted $3500 using an unhygienic bathtub. - Very bad customer service, poor communication, no one took ownership of the issue when this problem was reported. - Issue was passed down the chain without anyone taking responsibility. - Sent emails to Julie Gutmann with pictures showing how bad mold was. - This isn't how a paying guest should be treated, let alone an Elite Gold Member. - Can't say how disappointed I am with the service received. - Because of the issues and unpleasant nature our entire holiday was ruined. - All this goes against the Marriot values, which are "Putting People First, Pursuing Excellence, Embracing Change, Acting with Integrity". - Marriott corporate should take a closer look at the conduct of Le Meridien, Nice and revoke their status as a Marriott member. This sort of treatment will result in bad publicity and law suits in the near future.

    Excellent lunch at Rooftop Restaurant

    We had a decent lunch at The Rooftop restaurant today. Views are fantastic along the coast and towards the Old Town. Really efficient and accommodating staff. Prices as you'd expect for the location. Recommended.
