    A paradaise in Mexico

All was amazingly perfect; all staff is so kind and helpful; services are taken seriously and are great; the property extension and the amenities are just wonderful and well maintenance. Beaches and scenery are spectacular.

This is the place to comeback again

Hi, dear readers. We are the couple that likes to travel. 14 times visited Dominican Rep. all famous locations; number of times Cuba, Aruba… We have a lot of experience and can compare with other places. This time, we took the last all-inclusive direct flight in May. My review will consist of 3 paragraphs: Good, not so good, suggestions. Good. Reception. The people on the reception deck are very friendly and responsive to all inquiries. A special thanks to Nina. Location and topography. The resort is located in the perfect spot on the lagoon. There are a lot of steps and hills. We counted 189 steps from the beach to our room. This does not include the hills. We knew about this “challenge” and still decided to go. During our stay, we always took stairs to go downhill, and the climbing was not that bad for our age (we are 63 and 64 years old). We used the carts to go up only once a day in the afternoon, and it was just because of the heat. Beach. Very well maintained, with a lot of beach chairs. A special thanks to the personnel who bring cold bottled water and drinks to the beach. Unexpectedly, we saw a lot of “unoccupied” umbrellas during the day. I did not say anything about snorkeling and waves because this was elaborated on almost in every review. Food. During our stay, we used the Bellavista buffet only. There were no black caviar, no truffle mushrooms, no fugu fish, or Kopi Luwak coffee, but this was expected. The restaurant is very clean, the service has no room for improvement, and it is very good. The food is delicious, and the green juice is one of the best. We had this every morning, afternoon, and evening. Because of the yummy food, we had to use stairs up and down to not bring an extra kilo or two to Toronto. Room. We expected to see Picasso paintings on the wall, a jacuzzi hot tub instead of a shower, and a fridge full of champagne and cognac, but we were so happy it wasn’t there, so we could enjoy the very comfy bed and big shower head. To have 3 light switches in the bathroom and a motion switch in the clothing is a brilliant idea. Bar service, swimming pool activity, entertainment—all good. Transportation is well organized. As mentioned before, we used carts only in the afternoon for check-in and check-out. The drivers are very nice and helpful. There is no waiting time for the cart. Not so good. It is not so good that we have nothing to write in this paragraph to complain about. Good job, Las Brizas keep it up. Suggestions. It would be nice to have more papaya, watermelon, pineapple, and mango for lunch and dinner if it were all possible. You have a wide and steep staircase from the bar to the lobby. To have a moving up escalator would be great. I know this is an expensive project and not on the must-do list, but it would be nice to have. Conclusion. We categorize all visited resorts into two groups. The first is “never comeback,” and the second is “want to visit again.” I have to say that we are starting to plan the second trip to Las Brizas. Thank you for a good vacation.

    Preferences to other nationalities 😑

We were there for a family reunion. We were 11 people. The Hotel is nice. It’s updated but good. The music is horrendous. They don’t play music during the day by the pool or if they do.. they do it very quietly and old…old… music. They play from the 50’s, 60’s ….!!! The most 80’s And just English !!! One day I ask for some Spanish or more modern music and the answer was…. Sorry!!! But this is what Canadians like and they don’t like it loud And what about others nationalities?? I’m paying too. They where malinchistas at the buffet the waitress just take care of canadienses too I have to keep looking for one for my table . One day they give the DJ to a group of Canadienses to be screaming in the microphone and I guess that was ok. I was really dissatisfied with that. The buffet offers mole almost every day 👌🏼 the beach is pretty the shows are good. This hotel has lots of stairs lots!!!! So if you have a mobility problem look for another one. Huatulco is beautiful. And I like it just a shame that in the hotel are a little malinchistas. No, I’m not coming back to this hotel. I’ve been in too many and I never felt discriminated like in this one. The sad part I’m Mexican 😭 and I feel like that in my own country

    Beautiful and hot!

A lovely hotel that was spread out along the peninsula. We had access to three private beaches and were able to eat many meals with an ocean view. There were 152 stairs to our room, but luckily we had access to shuttle service anytime! The à la carts were wonderful and easy to book and the buffet had something for everyone. We were able to take part in many excursions, but the resort itself was wide and spread out and we were able to explore that as well. We enjoyed the nightly entertainment, especially the acoustic singing in the lobby.lost Bries was a place that many Mexican people went to vacation and Canadians.

Another Amazing Vacation at Las Brisas

This is our third time staying as Las Brisas since last April and we will be back! Our first time was April 2023 and we spoke so highly about it, two couples joined us for our trip December 2023. They were impressed! We always stay in the Beach Club suites because we enjoy the unlimited a la carte restaurants and the BBC lounge. We went over for breakfast and happy hour every day and found that the food was even better this time than the first two trips. The premade omelets that we love so much were served more frequently and the canapes at happy hour were delicious. The service was really good, as usual. We didn't have to wait for anything. The beaches are all amazing. In fact they are so good, we hadn't even put a toe in the pool until this trip. We wanted to try so spent a bit of time in the adult pool and it was nice and quiet. We love to walk and enjoyed navigating the hills. We only shuttled with our luggage at check in and check out, but there are plenty of shuttles to get you around. It was quite hot so for many they are an absolute necessity and are readily available. All in all another amazing trip. Our only regret is booking seven days instead of 10. Next time for sure!
