    Aging, but ok.

In general the place is aging. Spent 3 weeks here in March/ April. The front staff are not very helpful they didn’t seem to know what was going on in the property at any time especially the concierge staff.I do not take my phone on holiday on purpose ( on call at home 27/7). No phone ,no alacart restaurants, concierge would refuse every time to make reservations, no computer in lobby to do it yourself. I would like to say the service staff at the buffet were awesome especially Miguel, Ester and Isadora. Especially good people to deal with.pool staff were nice and easy to deal with. The maids were awesome. Last comment , the saving of loungers at the pool at 6 in the morning is childish , need to be more loungers and in general chairs to sit in all over the facility.

Busy Resort with Many Activities .

This is a very big and busy resort. Our first two rooms were not good. They were dark, the fridge didn’t work, the Wi-Fi was spotty and in one of the rooms, the patio door didn’t have a lock. There weren’t any chairs in the room so sitting on the bed was the only option. We were really disappointed. After complaining again we were given an upgraded room, which was much better. I guess booking an upgraded room is the way to go. We were impressed at how thoroughly the grounds are cared for. There are always people keeping the area clean. All the staff were very friendly. We were particularly impressed with our morning breakfast crew. Alejandro, Daniel and Alexandra were all fantastic. They made us feel welcome and were always so kind. They even arranged a slice of birthday cake for my son on his birthday. If you want a chair at the adult pool, you need to clean them very early. I think people were there before sunrise putting their stuff on chairs. I made it a little bit difficult to find good chairs. I think there are just so many people there so this is what happens. It was easier to get chairs on the beach. We thought the resort tried pretty hard to keep every day interesting. There were lots of different activities if you were looking to be kept entertained. There were bingo events, yoga, cornhole, water, aerobics, etc. They even had a pool party with suds in the pool. There was poolside food, such as fajitas and tacos. I felt they tried really hard to make sure everyone had something to do. We found the food at the buffet and all the restaurants to be really good. All in all, it’s a nice resort but if you want a peace experience, this may not be for you.

    Samuel from “the grill”

Samuel was amazing. Saw him for 3 nights at the grill. Was on top of everything. Would highly recommend. He should indefinitely get a raise. Swim bar is good. Adult pool far away from the kids pool. Wifi is not the best, but you make do with what you have.

    Puerto Vallarta vacation

Erica Ohb was so helpful and kind. She helped my friend and I with everything during our stay in PV. Incredible support from her. She recommended the best restaurants and the best way to get around. We will for sure return to the Crystal Grand Neuva Vallarta next year and I will recommend this resort and Erica to all of my friends and family! 🥰

    Second Time's a Charm

    1. Last year we booked a week in April; this year we decided to do so again. Last year we enjoyed the beach, the pools, the staff, the coffee shop below the lobby, and the grounds. What we found frustrating last year was the booking system for the a la cartes, and the very weak internet. We also remembered finding the buffet food very repetitious. The Grand has ditched the line-ups and replaced them with an app that lets one easily book any of the a la cartes. Second, the awful internet has been upgraded and now is reliably available anywhere we needed it. Last, we got recognizable cuts of beef, a delicious pizza night and two theme nights. On our first night we slept in a small, dark room at the back of building three, but with the help of Jorge at the front desk, the next day we moved to a much brighter and bigger room in building six. Muchas gracias for making our stay excellent, Jorge.
