We got married at the resort in January and it was a great experience. The JW team lead by Avril did a fantastic job and we were blown away by the attentiveness of the staff. You could tell they cared greatly about making it a special moment.

Fantastic Stay at JW Marriott Los Cabos
My wife and I had an amazing week at the JW Marriott Los Cabos. The grounds are stunning, and the pools are absolutely beautiful — it seemed like every other one was heated! There were plenty of lounge chairs available, though it did get a bit busier over the weekend. Our oceanfront room was lovely and comfortable, with a great view of the sea. The only small downside was that the bathroom and shower could have used a bit more lighting, but that’s really the only critique I can come up with. The staff made the stay exceptional — from valet and reception to housekeeping and restaurant service, everyone was warm, helpful, and professional. Special shoutout to Damian (Valet/Bellman), Jazmine (Housekeeping), and Alison at Ua Culinary Artisans for their friendliness and attention to detail. And I can’t forget Rigoberto, who made the best omelet every morning! Overall, this was a fantastic stay, and I would absolutely return to this property on my next trip to San José del Cabo. Highly recommend!

Kids club was great! Paula, Karla, Sofia, Yous and Priscilla were fantastic. They were professional and great with the kids.

Do not trust this hotel with your credit card. I modified a reservation to a lower rate room, which they confirmed in writing at the lower rate. Instead of refunding the difference (~$2,000), they manually manipulated my final bill to keep my original deposit. They added a fake 'Room Charge (Manual)' for a date I wasn't even at the hotel = charging me $2,000 for a night I didn't even stay at the hotel! When I emailed them, the Reservations staff blatantly lied and claimed they never do manual adjustments--until I sent them their own receipt showing the word 'Manual' printed right on it. This isn't just bad service; it's fraud. Avoid this sketchy hotel at all costs. It's also way too far away from the actual town anyway - stay somewhere closer, more honest, and more reliable. Then you don't have to spend 45 minutes ubering or driving back and forth from various attractions and sites.

Serene, Uncrowded, and Family-Friendly
This was my third stay at the JW Los Cabos, and based on conversations with other guests, it’s clearly a place people return to. This year, my four year old son joined me for a father son trip, and thanks to the onsite kids club, we both had an incredible time. Before the trip, I spent a lot of time trying to understand how the kids club worked, so I wanted to share our experience. The kids club is open 365 days a year and offers both half day and full day options for children ages four and up. With the full day option, lunch is included. My son was able to choose what he wanted to eat each day, and it appeared to be the same kids menu offered through room service, the cheese pizza was a big hit. Paula, Gina, Karla, and Sofia at the kids club were fantastic. My son couldn’t wait to spend his days there and asked to go back every morning. While I initially felt a bit guilty not spending every moment together, he genuinely loved the program. It allowed me to enjoy the gym, spa (great place), and adult pool area each day before picking him up in the afternoon, followed by a few hours of swimming together before dinner. The kids club has an indoor playground along with organized activities, and my son came back to the room each day with something new: a tie-dye shirt, tie-dye hat, painted box, picture frame, and more. As others have mentioned, there are some minor maintenance issues, such as loose pool tiles, which I hope will be addressed. That said, the property is incredibly serene, even at full capacity it feels peaceful and uncrowded, making it easy to truly relax.
