Iberostar rose wave beach is amazing. The location was spot on for us as it was on the beach. We wanted a holiday which was relaxing as the past year was hard. This hotel got it right. The hotel rooms do need a little updating and the lobby is huge so would probably be better partitioned off with quieter rooms with coffee making facilities or smaller bar, for example. The room we had was fine but need a little updating. It served us well for the time we were there. My husband had one complaint no kettle. There was a coffee percolator in room but the tea tasted of coffee and as he isn’t a coffee drinker he didn’t enjoy it. There wasn’t any milk so I couldn’t have a morning coffee. Fridge was restocked every day and room was cleaned every day. Tv control needed new batteries and was sorted within 20 minutes which was great. As a really nice surprise the hotel gave us a bottle of champagne as it was our anniversary. A lovely thought. The balcony was large but we didn’t spend much time there as it was really hot. The beach was outstanding. Had a lounger every day and was in shade. The staff on beach from the bar were wonderful. Too name a few Anntoy, Melesia and Lisanne (who was always smiling). They were so friendly and helpful giving a smile when serving us our drinks. The only thing that was a little off were the traders on the sea line. Sometimes there were many so a little awkward to enter the sea. They were whistling to get your attention but fair play to them when you said no they left you be. There are three restaurants- Japanese, Italian and the little buffet. We ate most of meal times eating in the buffet. The choice was really good and suits all tastes. The staff there were all friendly and helpful especially Natasha, Seylon, Deborah and Cassandra. Always smiling. The view from the buffet is looking out to sea. We never tried the Japanese restaurant but the Italian restaurant was really nice. Food was great. I can’t remember the waitress who served us but she was so helpful and pleasant. We had an excursion out seeing the luminary lagoon with the divers in the evening. Wow that was amazing in the sea with the lovely blue light in sea. The staff on boat were funny entertaining and made the experience even better. We also went to main stream shopping. The hotel does a free shuttle for guests. Not much there but it is a working progress after hurricanes. Cheaper than resort but it all depends on what you want. All in all the staff the hotel employs are the ones that make holidays. The energy they have tires you out just by watching them. They deserve recognition for what they do especially the ones I have named. We have talked about returning next year or year after but we certainly be back. Very relaxing holiday. I will add that things are expensive and best to take American dollars rather than Jamaican dollars. It’s not just the resort but Jamaica in expensive. As it was all inclusive it didn’t really come into it.

Nice hotel with excellent choice of food at the Little River buffet restaurant. Comfortable rooms. Fairly good entertainment. All the staff are friendly and helpful. Top on the list is Vanessa our concierge. She is so friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. She helped make our stay smooth and stress free. If you happen to book reservations there, make sure to ask for Vanessa to be your concierge :) Other staff member Charles was also good with his presentation. Good hotel to visit.

Great experience! Jermaine with the entertainment team made it a fun experience constantly being welcoming and getting everyone out of their shell! Will go back and recommend 10/10!
