  Good stay, great place for couples and families.

  Large but manageable resort, with a ton of bars and restaurants. Very close to Cancun and playa. Unfortunately beach was not very useable. Concierge was great, room perfect and very clean. Service was mostly outstanding, some misses at the restaurants. La Geisha was no service at all, but a great chef. Food could have been hotter in many instances. Golf was outstanding. Had fun at spa and disco, entertainment was good at theater. Loved the available day pass to Cancun resort.

  Wild animals inside hotel restaurant's. Not healthy and potential contamination!!!

  We are very disappointed with the hotel director and staff of Maya and Lindo. They allow that wild animals that are not vaccinated and could traspase a long list of disease that could traspase to humans, enter to public and eating areas of the hotel, for example Star Café, touch utensils, gabinets, grabs some food and stay there. The tourists thinks they are pets of the hotel and approach them to feed them, take pictures, touch them, etc. But the resort don't advise cleary that they are wild animals is dangerous to be in touch. No body do anything and they don't care the safe specially of our childrens.

  Iberostar Selection Paraiso Maya Excellent

  We love staying here. Ron’s are great and roomy. The staff are fantastic. WE especially love Rodrigo in the Star Prestige area where as members we check in there. The beach staff on the Star Prestige beach are so attentive. Delfina, Angel and Diego are fantastic. The French Restaurant at the Maya resort is so good we ate there two nights in a row. The staff Michele, Luis, Erik and Daniel went over and above to make our experience great. The food was the best we have ever had at the resort. We also had a great dinner at the Steak house and our waiter Johnnie was wonderful. I have a Gluten allergy and Chefs Yesicca and Viviana were extremely helpful making Gluten free options for me. Our favorite Star Prestige bartender is Emmanuel.

  Love Iberostar Pariasio

  This is our 8th year visiting at Iberostar Selection Pariaso staying twice a year. The hotel is amazing! We have met some wonderful people that have made an impression on us for many years. First Delfina at the Prestige beach bar. She is a hard worker very attentive to all our needs and alway has a smile. She remembers all our drinks without even asking. Angel and Diego at the beach are also amazing. They go the extra mile to ensure we are comfortable. Rodrigo in Prestige is a person who pays attention to detail and makes us feel welcome no matter what we ask. Since I have dietary needs, Rodrigo prepared my information and I met with Viviana and Yjessica and they have ensured that everything I ate met my restrictions. At Prestige breakfast, we had a waiter Mauricio who introduced himself and made sure we had everything. Johnny at the steakhouse again was attentive to my dietary needs and was extremely efficient and pleasant. We ate at the French restaurant and the waiter named Eric was wonderful. Again very attentive to my dietary needs and hardworking and very attentive. Finally in Prestige, Manny the bartender is fabulous, always a smile on his face and a memory like a elephant. No matter how long it has been, he always remembers what we like. It is those people that make my visit amazing and feel like home.

  A Comfortable and Enjoyable Stay

  We had a great experience during our stay at Iberostar Hotel Maya. The rooms are spacious, comfortable, and a great place to relax. When we first arrived, we did have a small issue with the air conditioning, as it wasn’t working properly. We reported it to the staff, and they took care of it very quickly. We really appreciated how responsive and helpful everyone was and how quickly they resolved the issue. We also had the chance to try quite a few of the restaurants during our stay. One thing I really liked is that some of the restaurants don’t require reservations, and as a Maya guest, you have access to a much wider variety of restaurants and dining experiences, which is definitely a nice perk. For breakfast, we tried both Maya and Pagoda. We really enjoyed Maya, but unfortunately, our experience at Pagoda was quite different. The service there could definitely be improved. Some of the waiters were not very friendly, and the service was pretty slow. It was also common for our drinks to take a while to arrive. Thankfully, it wasn’t a huge issue since you can always go to the bar and get your own drinks if needed. We also went to Geisha, and the show was amazing! It was definitely one of the highlights of our stay. We visited L’Étoile and Marina as well. Marina was another place where I felt that some of the waiters could be a little more welcoming and attentive. Olivetti and Museo were fairly similar in terms of the overall experience, although one felt a bit more upscale and gourmet. Rancho, on the other hand, was one of my favorites. The staff were very friendly, the service was great, and the food was delicious. I also really want to take a moment to recognize someone who stood out during our stay: Diana, the hostess 🤩. She was always so attentive and would regularly check in to make sure everything was okay. We saw her at Maya during breakfast, at the dinner buffet, and at some of the à la carte restaurants, and every single time, she greeted us with the same big smile, kindness, and genuine warmth. Diana really made an impression on us. It’s not often that you see the same person in different areas of a resort and receive that same level of friendliness and attention every time. She made us feel genuinely welcomed, and I think employees like her deserve to be recognized because they really do make a difference in the overall guest experience. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and loved having so many different dining options to choose from, especially with the Maya benefits. I do think there is some room for improvement when it comes to the attitude, speed, and attentiveness of some of the waitstaff, but there were also many great experiences and some truly wonderful employees who made our stay memorable.
