Oct 15, 2026A Great Family Resort, but Not Ideal for Couples
We had a good experience at Hyatt Ziva Los Cabos overall. The resort was beautiful, and we enjoyed our stay. However, it felt more geared toward families with children than couples looking for a quieter, more relaxing getaway. If you are traveling with children, this would likely be an excellent choice. For couples seeking a more peaceful, adult-oriented atmosphere, there may be better options. Overall, it was a pleasant stay, but perhaps not the best fit for us.

Oct 14, 2026HORRIBLE MANAGEMENT AND CUSTOMER SERVICE AT HYATT ZIVA LOS CABOS
Be Careful Giving Your Credit Card to This Hotel! My experience with Hyatt Ziva Los Cabos has been terrible. They charged me an extra $354, promised to refund the money, and yet I am still struggling to get my refund. Whenever I call to ask for an explanation, they hang up on me instead of helping resolve the problem. The customer service is unacceptable, and the management has been extremely disappointing. I have stayed at this hotel three times, but after this experience, I will never return.

Going back asap!
The location was perfect, close to the airport. As soon as you step foot out of the taxi you’re on vacation. Hot towels, a drink in your hand, and the view!! Check in was easy, our room wasn’t ready but we were able to use all the facilities and amenities. My kids wanted to check out the kids club and wound up staying there the rest of the day!!! The kids pool with the slides “mini water park” was amazing! We loved the Indian restaurant, the food was amazing and the ambiance well exceeded my expectations! Room service was great, room was clean:) I’d definitely go back again!

We had a fantastic family vacation, highlighted by exceptional hospitality. Nearly every staff interaction was warm, friendly, and helpful, from the poolside servers and Kids Club team to the restaurant and entertainment staff. The entertainment team and Kids Club staff even remembered our children’s names after they attended the Kids Club/activities throughout the week, which was such a sweet and personal touch. Their genuine care made our stay especially enjoyable. The resort offered delicious food, poolside entertainment, and plenty of activities for children. The entertainment staff were energetic, engaging, and did a wonderful job creating a fun atmosphere throughout the resort. Their enthusiasm and friendliness made the activities and entertainment especially enjoyable for guests of all ages. The Kids Club, water slides, and poolside food and drink service were also highlights. The delicious poolside food, including the smash burgers at the train station and the fish tacos at the food truck, was a standout and definitely deserves a shout-out! Dozo Restaurant provided an amazing, memorable teppanyaki experience. Major kudos to our server and chef, who made our anniversary extra special that evening. The coffee bar offered excellent coffee, snacks, and delicious morning donuts. The modern gym, newer equipment, challenging fitness classes, and reasonably priced spa day pass were also standout features. The spa was peaceful, relaxing, and an excellent way to unwind, with amazing service. The resort is also conveniently located only about a 20-minute drive from the airport. A few thoughtful enhancements could make the experience even better, including more restaurant availability at lunch. Most restaurants were open only for dinner, making it difficult to try more than a few during our stay. More consistent replenishment of room towels and amenities, a wider variety of in-room snacks, and updated entertainment screens in the sports bar and theater would also be appreciated. We would additionally welcome supervised swim time through the Kids Club, allowing children to enjoy the pool and water slides while parents take a break. Overall, we made many great memories and would absolutely recommend this resort to families seeking a fun, relaxing getaway with outstanding service. With a few thoughtful enhancements, it could easily become a five-star experience!

Must stay!
Absolutely amazing the restaurants were wonderful, Angel’s art class was such a highlight with a well thought out art project that was really fun and the wine glasses kept full by helpful staff and assistance. I would 100% recommend this property. Staff was extremely helpful, kind, and responsive.
