Disappointing

WAY too expensive - we booked here on the advice of a friend who works for an airline and stays here during travel - I expected a luxury experience based on my booking price (>650.00 USD) but was VERY disappointed in the quality and service. Only paper cups in the room - no glass or porcelain for coffee; sky bar service was poor - we had to request a server after 20 minutes waiting, then another 15 minutes before two ultra expensive drinks delivered; breakfast was mediocre buffet. Sadly disappointed at every point. We had booked a last minute hotel 2 blocks from the Eiffel Tower a week ago - I would have stayed there except our reservation at the Hyatt was prepaid. The view was nice, tho.

Great hotel near a number of Metro lines

Highly, highly recommend! Second time staying here and the stay was even better than the first. The HR Paris Etoile is a bit out of the center of Paris, but you are a 4-6 min walk from a number of different Metro lines that will get you anywhere you want to go. The staff are all extremely friendly. Rooms are new and clean. The Lounge has a great breakfast and evening "snacks" that I made a dinner out of. Great hotel!
