We did not have plans to stay at the Hyatt and ended up here unexpectedly after another last minute cancelled reservation. Pierre was so accommodating in finding us a suite right away. The grounds of the hotel are very nice - the pool and spa are lovely and the games/fire pit area is fun for families. In November we were still able to take advantage of the outdoor heated pool on warmer days. Any small requests for items in the room were quickly accommodated. The marina views are lovely from the suites. Would recommend to others looking to be in the Mission Bay area which is a quick drive to lots of attractions in the area - Sunset Cliffs, Old Town San Diego, Balboa Park, Liberty Station etc.

Mediocre experience. Not great but not bad. Dated facility and upkeep is meh. Parking pricey. Our room had quite a few ants all over the room and made the stay a bit uncomfortable.

Fun & friendly hotel with gorgeous water views!
I had a great stay at Hyatt Mission Bay San Diego. First off it’s super close to the airport which is convenient. I was there for a 3 day work trip. What I loved most about this hotel was that it is surrounded by water so the views are insane from any room. I requested a room with a view and I’m so glad I did as it made my business trip feel like a mini vacation escape. I used the valet parking which was only a few dollars more than self parking and your car arrives pretty fast. I also recommend eating breakfast at their restaurant, The Red Marlin. The service and food were great and their coffee was strong and delicious. The restaurant is located in a Marina so it’s fun to watch the boats coming and going while you eat. They have 3 pools and a hot tub. It was too cold for me for the pool but the hot tub was great and their pool area very clean. This is an older hotel and sometimes the elevator takes long to arrive so keep that in mind.

HIGHLY RECOMMEND for a beautiful and comfortable stay!
It was a tremendous stay - top notch! From a welcome email before we even arrived to a welcome surprise upon arrival - every detail was a delight! Beautiful views from a clean and spacious room to ease in traveling there from airport. Great stay and HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Dated and Expenisve
The Hotel is unworthy of the Hyatt Regency Brand. It is dated, run down and is really expensive. Parking is 50 usd per night and resort fees are 46 per night. I would not stay here again.
