I checked into the hotel and it was overall beautiful. Had a total of 10 friends that joined me in booking this property. The location was amazing, the hotel was beautiful and the buffet was great. At check in, Ricardo made this one of best experiences to celebrate my 40th birthday in Panama. I did t get to tell him thank you before leaving but I hope this review is shared with him. I Definitely will be back.

Vacation trip
Hotel need activities for guess. It was very bored staying there for one week, the only thing was around me was a swimming pool. Food need to be a little more tasty. Staff was very friendly, helpful, and nice. Need more food choice around, hotel very clean. Esavia from Brooklyn, new york.

Great Experience
I had an amazing time at The Riu Plaza Panamá and I will be visiting again next year. The food was really good in both restaurants and buffet. Also the staff were really helpful and polite! 10/10!

The buffet breakfast was excellent and the staffs were 5 stars. I wish they would have speak more English. The service was outstanding. .

Oct 18, 2026A problem about ice but everything else was great.
This hotel was awesome, clean, great amenities, super nice staff, great location, large rooms, great views. However, I was told that Ice was available on the 29th and 31st floors. I was on the 30th. The catch is that the key will only allow you to get to your floor. If you aren't on the floors with the ice machine you have to go to the snack bar in the lobby and get ice or pay $5 for them to bring the ice to you; both of which I find ridiculous and inconvenient. This needs to be rethought and fixed.
