Great base for our short break!
4 nights, couples last minute break. Location to airport, good. You may be able to take advantage of a free transfer if booking direct but a taxi to the airport was 14€. PDC is walkable, 20 mins ish and taxi around 5€. Hotel spotless, room more than adequate. Every member of staff was friendly, this stood out for us as fairly frequent travellers. Really big plus! Absolutely loved this element along with a 24hour bar that I've not seen before at 5 star hotels! One tip for the hotel, the main downstairs seating area near the restaurant has an army of glass collectors working in the evening. This is great but the bar is a little understaffed making the glass collectors redundant as people are not sitting enjoying drinks (queing at bar) to leave empties for the masses of glass collectors. Truly, glass collection stations all over, bar close.....do you need 6 glass collectors with only 1 / 2 bar staff? Top up the bar staff, trim down on glass collectors. Aside of this minor observation, its a great hotel!

Great Visit, lovely hotel!
We have just arrived home after a 4 night stay at the Riu as a Riu partner. From start to finish, the service was brilliant. The rooms were very clean, there was a hair dryer which was really good, the shower was powerful and hot. We were also kindly given a room which had a front ocean view which was amazing! The pool area by the restaurant was were most of the day activites took place and sometimes had some music. There was beds available at all times of the day with good shade. The pool area in the other section of the resort (which is where we stayed) was quieter but more popular for kids. Towels were provided by the hotel. The restaurant food was great. The buffet could get busy at times but there was never a limitation of the food. The snack bars (pepe's food) were also brilliant for a daytime snack outside of the restaurant times. This also was nice to have another scenary since the hotel only had one main restaurant. We visited the asian buffet which was super easy to book at reception and they had availability for even the following day. The food was amazing and personally i quite liked that it was a buffet as you could have a look at the different options in front of you rather than picking off a menu. The toilets were impecably clean and were constantly being cleaned throughout the day. The entertainment was okay. it gave you something to watch in the evenign which was great, The acrobatics was very impressive and the comedy show did get us laughing. We were quite lucky with the weather, with sunny afternoons of around 20 degrees and we were quite thankful for the breeze. We did have a couple days of strong winds but it was still sunny. The location of the hotel was perfect. 10-15 minute taxi from the airport (which was super easy to get, didnt even have to wait). Within the resort, there was a gate which goes straight onto the promenade (with key card acccess). The beach is lovely, the sand can be hard but we went for a lovel beach walk down to the shops to the left. it was a 20 minute walk in total. There is a SPAR shop to the left which was a 5-10 minute walk. Overall, a great visit to this hotel and i would definately return!

A much needed restful break away
I Always stay at RIUs wherever I travel. Normally it’s always the palaces. This was our first visit to Lanzarote and this hotel is the only RIU not a palace but we decided to stay here as we know what we are getting with RIU. I have to say the hotel is spotless, the food is good and I loved the cleanliness and decor of this hotel very tastefully decorated bright and modern. All the staff were friendly and most helpful. In some ways the rooms were nicer than the palaces but the palace touches were missing, hence this is why it’s not a palace. It’s a mixed age hotel with mostly elder visitors, that said I would definitely stay here again.

Stay at Rui Paraiso, Lanzarote
Nice hotel, and very clean. The animation team were good, and kept everyone entertained. The food was good, and there was something for everyone. However, the food was a little greasy for my liking.

A break from the cold
This was our third trip to the RIU and didn’t disappoint we had a room in the accommodation which was once another hotel we had a nice room and got the sun on the balcony for a few hours and had a sea view the room was spotless and cleaned every day the weather was good we had one day of rain but good weather the rest of the week the food was good but was disappointed with the deserts which really never changed from day to day the entertainment at night was great overall we had a great time
