Lovely hotel. Clean. Roomy. Lovely rooms. Staff friendly and approachable. Food was very good. Plenty of choice. Pool area very good. Plenty of sunbeds. Just a few steps down from the hotel onto a beautiful promenade. Lovely walk each morning…always some beds free when we got back. Entertainment was good overall. Lovely holiday would certainly go back.

Back at the Riu Are as again!
We stay at this hotel every May and are never disappointed. Reception staff are always helpful and friendly (special mention for Beatriz) and a very special mention for Anka at the Aloha beach bar who is the friendliest of all. The bar would not be the same without her 😀 The location of the hotel is perfect. Far enough away from the buzz but not so far that you can't walk to nightlife if that is what you want of an evening. 10 mins walk to La Caleta which has great restaurants. Fantastic promenade for long walks by the sea.

Overall very good
Food was very good,tea and coffee in room not readily available.On departure reception staff were very abrupt and we weren’t thanked or asked how our stay was.

Be aware it’s not all inclusive like most Riu’s. We didn’t go hungry though, there are some fabulous restaurants within walking distance. Service at the hotel was excellent and we really enjoyed our stay

RIU Arecss
All of the staff - reception, waiters, cooks, cleaners etc were all professional and very helpful, nothing was too much trouble. The hotel and grounds were very clean and in a great location. The only ‘bad point’ was the size and quality of the bath towels - in adequate!
