The Best Hotel on earth
I just returned from a glorious stay at the Hotel Martinez in Cannes. It was our 27th year going there so it has become our second home. Having watched the changes to the hotel over the years, I can honestly say it just keeps getting better. With the latest renovation, the hotel is next level. the lobby is stunning and just by entering their elegant, yet contemporary rooms, you are immediately transported into 5-star paradise. The food is divine, and I need to give a huge shout out to Franck Brillon whose service and leadership has made eating breakfast there into a near religious experience. Best breakfast on the Riviera. Guests all around were commenting that since he is at the helm, food and beverage is a 10 out of 10. Anywhere you go in the hotel , there is not one minute when a staff member is not smiling and greeting you with a happy "bonjour". From the reception to the concierge and housekeeping, everything was perfect. Of course there was the guest service. Words cannot adequately describe our gratitude to Celine Renou. In short, she is every guest's fairy GD mother. She does it ALL for EVERYONE!! Somehow, she manages to know the names of the guests, their likes and dislikes and caters to them all. She delivers a personalized guest experience that I have never experienced in any 5-star hotel in the world. We have been there on different occasions with friends who also felt she was an angel on earth. No problem is too big or small for Celine. Your wish is literally her command. I love mangoes, so mangos were waiting in my room as a welcome gift. Celine knows how to get any job done and does it with such a high level of professionalism, I am surprised that she has anytime at all for herself. She loves the hotel as much as they love her. We all do. In short, I could spend hours writing and gushing about the Hotel Martinez. My suggestion is to read this and book a trip there today. I can promise that you will be enchanted from the moment you arrive for the entirety of your stay.

Beautiful Hotel with Great Service
After a long day of work or exploring Cannes, the Martinez feels like a comfortable place to return to. From the moment you arrive, the reception staff are welcoming and efficient, making the check-in process smooth. The concierge is helpful with any requests. The rooms are clean and well-designed and provide a relaxing space to unwind. Except for the cupboards, which are a bit small, especially for a lady. Room service is perfect, and the staff throughout the hotel are attentive without being intrusive. The location is convenient, with easy access to the beach and key spots in Cannes. Overall, the service is consistently good, and the staff make an effort to ensure you have a pleasant stay.

Average
Very average experience that doesn't match the price point of this hotel, not worth the money. i travel a lot and i can say that at this room rate you can find hotel that offer you a real 5 star service, which in my opinion is not the case for this hotel. i also noticed that in the last 2 years the overall quality of service is down, it used to be a great hotel.

Sub-par hotel.
The hotel was obviously taken over by Hyatt. It’s not a five star boutique hotel any longer. Many of the staff are younger and less experienced, check-in process took a really long time, the restaurant at the beach is far inferior to all the other restaurants along the beach.

Great Short Stay
Hotel Martinez was a great place. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The Spa and fitness facility were also great. The only thing that kept from getting 5-stars was the fact that there was some mold along the edge of the bath tub.
