Tired and Lousy Housekeeping!
I am staying at this hotel for a conference. I arrived on may 16 and will depart on may 21. I am in room 432. The price is 500€ per night plus 337,50 in taxes and a tourist fee of 50€. The room overviews a crossroad by the parliament and the embassies row. There is heavy traffic. The window is not sound proofed and when you are inside the room with the window closed you do hear the cars, trucks and even more so the motorbikes! Last Sunday i left my room at 8:30 am, when i came back at 3:30 pm my room had still not been cleaned. I had to insist. Then i left. When i came back my clothes had all been thrown in a pile on my travel bag as if in a bad mood! The housekeepers are never polite nor respectful. Instead of greeting you they give you a dirty look. Today as i was leaving the room at about 7 pm i addressed the housekeeper who was in the hallway to ask if she was going to do the turn down. Not only did she give me a terrible face, but instead of greeting me, she made a growl. It is obvious they are not greek and are very rude. One of the towels was not put in place but thrown on the rack without unfolding it. The toilet bowl was not cleaned. Earlier a lady came to check the room: i told her that from the time i had arrived in the hotel a light bulb in the chandelier, which was already burned out when I arrived, had not been replaced. She told me someone would come in half an hour. Tonight (it's twenty minutes past midnight) it still hasn't been replaced. Little water is being provided to drink. Just a mini carton of water. All together this hotel which pretends to be the best in town and which puts in its name the words « luxury collection » is far from being luxurious! It is runned down and the housekeeping is super lousy!

Great location and views!
Beautiful hotel with lovely rooms and a location near everything from shopping to the changing of the guards (visible from our room window). The restaurant on the top floor has breathtaking views of the Acropolis, unfortunately the food is lackluster

A Grand Hotel
A very big and very busy hotel with many groups and individuals coming and going all the time. However, thanks to the very hard working and professional staff, it doesn’t feel like it. Have seldom stayed in a hotel where all staff encountered are both cheerful and responsive. Would strongly recommend.

Classic luxury
Wonderful old school hotel. Impeccable 5 star service from the whole team, lovely rooftop pool, beautiful bedrooms with a view of the Acropolis to die for and a lovely restaurant on the top floor. This really is a timeless classic place that you just won’t want to leave.

A 5 star hotel with 5 star service and in a great position
We were able to get a fantastic deal with British Airways which included the flight and four night Bed and ( superb) breakfast in the traditional excellent 5 star hotel. Being a great deal we had entry rooms facing the courtyard we even so everything was excellent, the room a good size and 5 star service throughout. Well recommended for a short early break as the position is perfect, short walk from acropolis, across the road from the parliament, near shops and more places to eat that you ever need. All the staff were so well trained, the consierge arranged a super 3 hour tour guide Anastasia, who was excellent and made the whole place come alive, answering all our questions with enthusiasm. She may have been there a thousand times but you wouldn’t have known. Unfortunately the outdoor pool wasn’t open yet but the free spa as excellent. Lovely hotel
