This resort was amazing. The food was great, they had all the different types of alcohol, the entertainment was fantastic. Overall the service and staff were fantastic. I can’t say enough good things about the resort. It was private and very relaxing. I will be recommending it and going back myself.

Pleasantly surprised
I was pleasantly delighted at this place. Being a Hilton I didn’t expect anything very special but the place was amazing. The layout was great, not walking forever to get to dinner or breakfast. And the restaurants were excellent. Favorite was probably the seafood for lunch and Italian for dinner. And even the breakfast buffet was great. I’ve been to many all-inclusive and this one was excellent. The wait staff everywhere was friendly and had smiling faces, which I hope meant they all get treated well. Highly recommend

Outstanding service.
The buffet breakfast at Hilton Vallarta Riviera All-Inclusive Resort was truly next-level and set the tone for our entire stay. From the moment we were seated, we were made to feel genuinely welcomed and incredibly well cared for. A huge shoutout to Vela, Jorge, Isela, and Luis — their service was attentive, warm, and consistently above and beyond. They remembered details, anticipated needs, and made every morning feel special rather than routine. It’s rare to experience service that feels both professional and personal, and this team absolutely delivered. The breakfast buffet itself was phenomenal: fresh, abundant, and thoughtfully curated with something for everyone. Everything was beautifully presented, well stocked, and delicious — truly what you hope for (and more) in an all-inclusive resort. Hands down, this is one of the best resorts we’ve ever stayed at. The all-inclusive experience here truly means everything — exceptional food, outstanding service, and an atmosphere that makes you feel relaxed and taken care of at every turn. We already can’t wait to return. Highly, highly recommend also ask for Jose at the pool bar excellent service! That’s a different 5 star service on its own.

This was the absolute worst experience we’ve had in 41 years of marriage - don’t be fooled there are no adults only floors, the food is horrible, the service beyond awful and you can’t get in the water due to the strong under tow and no beach. The straw that broke the camel’s back was when I sent laundry to have cleaned due to and unforeseen flight delay and it came back dirty in the same bag !! Also, there is a huge language barrier and they DO NOT like Americans. Go to The Secrets Resort in Akumal instead- impeccable!

Beautiful sunsets, whales and an amazing staff!
We just got back this week from 6 days at the resort. It was an amazing vacation! We were checked in by Eduardo and he was so kind and helpful and made a great professional first impression. When we got to our room there was a surprise from the concierge set up for our 30th wedding anniversay-that was great. My main reason for planning this trip to this resort was to see whales. As soon as we got to our room and walked on our balcony there were 4 whales right outside! So exciting and beautiful. We saw whales everyday and usually both in the morning and afternoon. One day a mom and baby were out there and the baby was putting on a show. It was a dream come true! There is a bell by the pool that sometimes gets rung when the whales are out front. We really enjoyed the activities team. Fernando and Blanca were standouts to us but they all were great. If you get a chance to do the silent disco you should because it was so much fun and the water aerobics. We enjoyed the food. We really loved the asian and the italian restaurants. We did the buffet for breakfast and the omelet station and homemade tortillas were great. We did room service twice and it was all good. I loved the lunch that was grilled fresh by the pool. In the mornings i went to the Sky Bar to catch the sun and then moved poolside and beachside when the sun was there. Plenty of towels and loungers and great service. I loved this resort and what i liked the most was the staff, the most beautiful sunsets and the whales! Highly recommend for a beautiful and relaxing vacation!
