Great location disappointed by staff actions

Just leaving this hotel after a week's stay, the location of the hotel was amazing, five minutes to Disney Springs. Regular transport to the 4 Disney Parks. Three days after arrival the AC stopped working went to reception and reported this, they said they would send someone straight away 50 minutes later went back down and manager said Have they not been yet!!!!! No as that's why I came back down. Maintenance came reset the AC then took a phone call and it was in Spanish slagging me off to his mate in Spanish never assume English can't speak another language, his response was That's not fair!!!!!! Went at 7:50 to order food from pool side bar asked the waiter if they were still serving food, replied yes, went to the bar and was told no food orders, perhaps communication between staff could have been better. I was sitting by the pool when guest relations came and spoke to me, and told them of the problems, she said she would get her manager to phone me, six days later no phone call. Room service is very hit and miss some are amazing but others, not. In shower there are containers on wall, one fell off on day 4 did not use them but this was still on the floor when I checked out of hotel, no one had bothered to attached it again. So hotel great location but staff let it down

business stay / good food !

Stayed here for a conference - rooms are in need of a refurbish. If you have a chance, ask to be put in one of the suites - it’s a short walk from the lobby but the rooms are in better shape Don’t know if it’s an Orlando thing but my room smells musty. The positive: good water pressure in the shower The food in the Citrus canteen is tasty although pricey Letterpress restaurant food is also tasty - great service from Daril, Tina and try Surita’s pastries! Within walking distance of Disney Springs

    Mixed bag…

This was really a mixed experience my first time at this resort. There are better options for the price. The good: the grounds and pool area are nice. I think families especially would enjoy the pool when the weather is nice. It’s nice having a small balcony to enjoy some morning coffee on. The location is why the price is high—it’s a 10 minute walk from your door to the entrance of Disney Springs, which was a big draw for us as we enjoy several bars and restaurants there and didn’t want to drive. The free shuttle to the Disney parks was really easy to use. The bad: our sheets weren’t especially clean. When they texted and asked how our stay was I asked for clean sheets and they did remake the bed with nice clean sheets. The second day when I went on the balcony I found a water bottle full of cigarette butts and what looked like tobacco spit …hard to say how long it had been there. I texted to bring to their attention and they said housekeeping would take care of it when the room was cleaned that day. When we returned to the room that evening the room had been cleaned but the bottle of cigarette butts was still on the patio. I texted again and they did quickly come up to remove it. Two of the nights the lobby bar was closed and not serving 10 minutes before their posted closing time and suggested I go down the hall to the other bar. I went to the other bar and we sat for a while without being helped…I saw people who were eating go find their own plates and silverware and others have to beg for a check so we left and decided to call it a night. I’ve been a Hilton fan for decades but will go to the other Hilton down the street next time, whether I can deal with a smaller pool in exchange for cleanliness and a smile.

    Highly recommend

Phenomenal service everywhere. I would definitely stay here again. The location is perfect for a solo trip and for someone who wasn’t interested in the parks.
