The hotel is well maintained. Wonderful experience. The staff is awesome, especially the bartenders. We'll definitely come back.

Dinner at UMO? YES, PLEASE!
Dinner at the new restaurant UMO (formerly Ipanema) was amazing. I really liked the ala carte dining experience. Service was fantastic, provided expertly by Branly (waiter), assisted by Fer and Eduardo. Our knowledgeable sommelier, Ary, was friendly and professional. I love that she shared a grape that was foreign to me!! Love that!! I recommend a visit to UMO when staying at Hard Rock Vallarta. I enjoyed the portobello taco and the fish tacos! So good. The Oaxacan chocolate cake for dessert is worth the visit alone!! I personally need to return to try more from the menu! Thank you to Hard Rock Vallarta for this new culinary offering!

Great resort and awesome staff
My daughter and I really enjoyed our first visit to this Hard Rock resort. We spent a week there at the end of November into December. The resort itself appears to be well maintained. The grounds are all well kept. Pools also. Always fun entertainment by the pool. Whether aerobics or games. We did not have any issues with restaurants or the food. All was delicious. We tried all restaurants. My daughter enjoyed the pool and Sunbar. Liked playing billiards (pool) with people we met. All in all we would go back again. As for staff we have a few favourites that were awesome. At the Sun Bar Gregario was great to talk to and always kept us happy. We never waited or lacked attention. Great server. Ciao Italian restaurant was good. Made a small mistake with our meal but was fixed immediately. Victor was very good keeping the “Queen and Princess” happy. He was also at Zen another night and did not forget calling us that and did so again and made us laugh. Valentina, Branly and Elias at Umo were so good that we never had to ask for things, they just appeared lol. In the pool area so many staff were great. Jovanni at pool bar very attentive and Charlie at the towel station always made sure we had seats and fresh towels. Georgia was awesome with poolside entertainment, kept everyone moving lol. This was a bit lengthy but hope it helps.

The beach at the Hard Rock Vallarta
We like to spend most of our time on the beach. And, while the beach is fantastic, we had an outstanding server, who was always checking to be sure we were taken care of. If you are on the beach at the Hard Rock, you will be lucky to have Juan serve you. He is professional, courteous, and friendly. One of the best

Hard Rock has the best service, especially Oscar on the beach,and the most beautiful beach!
Oscar on the beach is the best server ever! He showed us the purple rain and it was our favorite drink! Hard Rock Vallarta has the most beautiful beach!
