“Mixed Experience: Great Service & Entertainment, But Needs Renovation”
Date: February 2025 Overall, the cost is very high, and the value doesn’t feel tangible for what you pay. Our expectations for a Hard Rock experience were much higher. • The facilities are quite worn down. The elevators have broken screens, and the furniture feels outdated. • The in-room tablet wasn’t working. We were told someone would come to fix it, but no one ever arrived—we had to solve it ourselves. • The bathroom phone is extremely old and sounds like an alarm when it rings. • We were informed that renovations are underway. On the positive side: • Room cleanliness was excellent. Fresh, soft towels were available daily. • The bed, pillows, and sheets were very clean and comfortable. • The in-room jacuzzi was fantastic. • The pool, entertainment, and bars were great. • Food quality varies: Snacks like burgers, fries, nachos, and hot dogs were excellent. However, the restaurants get very crowded—expect wait times, and one even requires reservations. • The bars are a highlight, offering a great variety of drinks, including high-quality spirits for shots. • Service was exceptional. A special thank you to Janet from the third floor at the pool area—she made our experience even better! • Entertainment activities were super fun. While some areas need improvement, we still enjoyed certain aspects of our stay.

The service by Jessy and Kev Boy were excelent!!!t
You must taste the different kinds of food, deserts and good drinks in all the places that hotel provide for their guess. There are many amenities and activities during all day and finish at night in order to enjoy those. You can drink hot and cold Coffee all day.

Old Hard Rock
The hotel is very old. 1989. The furniture, bathroom, ect. The staff is nice, food, nothing to brag about. I have been to many Hard Rocks, and this is the worst. They claim to start remodeling next year. Pool was ok. People kept taking off towels from our seats, to use. Not many chairs around the pool. Got to be a real problem.

Nice resort, but began with selling pitches
Nice to have all food and drinks included (including alcohol and room service) during a trip to not have to worry about being nickel and dimed. Toro and Zen restaurants were good. Frida buffets had good variety. Ciao restaurant (a la carte) was pretty bad. Short ribs were very dry and portions tiny and seafood dish was meh (but it's all inclusive so I ordered an additional plain pasta dish which made up for the dry short ribs. but it was simple pasta). Room was nice. Never used jacuzzi in room, but bed was comfy and ocean view was beautiful. Housekeeping cleaned room very well. Pools were nice and not too crowded. Beach set up (chairs were super comfy) was relaxing. Attendants were kind. The person (or butler) that we were assigned to us for the whole stay --> we had to meet with the first night in order for him to tell us about the breakfast meeting where they try to sell you a travel contract. He was nice, but we never got a text or call from him after that first night. Had 3 people try to get us to buy something during that morning session. Once we got past that first day, it was more relaxing without all the selling pressures. They are currently renovating -- I know it's an older property, but honestly still looked nice. Shows were great and MC was energetic. Would go to this resort again, but would start off trip by telling the "butler" no to the presentation breakfast (which was never presented as an option) and just enjoy the beauty of the resort and city.
