Named to commemorate the wreck of the Sea Venture and the establishment of a colony in Bermuda, our new dramatic harbourside dining experience, 1609 Bar & Restaurant, offers uninterrupted harbour views and open air dining.
The menu features a variety of items from ceviche and pizza to burgers, sandwiches, and salads as well as a variety of seasonally inspired entrées. A carefully crafted cocktail menu offers Bermuda classics such as the Rum Swizzle and Dark & Stormy, as well as island-inspired libations including the Passion Fruit Mojito, 1609 Frozen Rum Punch, and White Peach and Tropical Red pitchers of Sangria.

Open daily, this restaurant offers casual all-day dining and late-night bar and grill with lively entertainment, and an exceptional rum selection. Crown & Anchor Bar, Restaurant, and Terrace is Bermuda’s newest “must visit venue” offering everything from a reserved afternoon tea to relaxing after work drinks. At the bar a fine selection of cognac, wine, and champagne by the glass await. Give in to the island favorite Bermuda Rum Swizzle, a delicious mix of local Gosling's Black Seal Rum, and tropical juices or our or the signature C&A Cocktail, which can be enjoyed on the new outdoor seating area, set in the beautifully landscaped gardens, overlooking the new Marina. - Marcus’ by Marcus Samuelsson
Like the hotel around it, Marcus’ is a visually striking affair, arrayed with modern art from the hotel’s owners, including original pieces by Andy Warhol, Liu Ye and Nelson Mandela amongst others. The signature restaurant occupies the former Gazebo Room, once a grand ballroom, offering a central bar and views of the ocean. An open kitchen with a wood burning grill located opposite is a show all in its own, with chefs creating Samuelsson’s specialty dishes.
A preview of menu items includes Oysters with Black Rum Mignonette, Salmon on the Grill, Jerk Pork Belly, and a tantalizing Whole Fried Chicken for Two. Additional dishes pay tribute to Bermudian culture, such as Grilled Bermuda Onion and Fish Chowder Bites among others. The restaurant features a full beverage menu with signature and classic cocktails, a well-rounded selection of wine and beer, and a new spin on a local favorite, ginger beer-based Darker and Stormier.

Bermuda is an outstanding Pre-Easter vacation that offered an exciting/relaxing island experience. Cab drivers are very nice and knowledgeable, and the prices are fair (including Quality Transport LTD). The Hamilton Princess and Beach Club (Fairmont Property) is a historic and beautifully maintained hotel. Its hotel staff is friendly, pleasant, knowledgeable and efficient. The wonderful experience began upon arrival – Aaron (Doorman/Bellman) and the entire Bell staff welcomed us with a pleasant smile and provided assistance to the check-in desk where the reception personnel greeted us not as guests but as family members. Dennis and the outstanding concierge service staff aided prior to our arrival, scheduled airport transportation to the hotel, provided recommendations and assisted with island activities. Taejah Virgil prepared and took pride in timely servicing our garden view room. A variety of wonderful restaurants were available within the hotel – each delivered exceptional food & drinks: Crown & Anchor serviced by Ramesh and others who ensured outstanding service. Enjoyed the Wednesday evening boat racing from the scenic 1609 Marina Bar while enjoying flatbread, fries, the signature swizzle and receiving superb service and Island history from Adam, Nikki and Ava – you will not be disappointed! INTREPID Restaurant, the crown of fine dining & bar service led by Lloyd (Maitre D – provided personable service & outstanding food recommendations {Sea Bass/Hamachi) and attentive staff, who welcomed us on each occasion by name; Oliver, Loana and Jessa ensured food items were delivered at the correct time/temperature; Savzjae, Keishaun & Ebony (created menu beverage “The Heatwave”) are expert mixologists who are very detailed about alcoholic/non-alcoholic beverages and remembered choice beverages despite the large crowds!!! This experience set the tone for our Bermudaful stay. The beautifully landscaped Hamilton Princess Beach Club on South Shore with its pink sand and turquoise-blue water was paradise, a view of Bermuda’s natural beauty; the staff delivered caring service. Overall wonderful experience from the entire Hamilton Princess & Beach Club staff.

Great visit at Crown and Anchor restaurant
We had lunch at “Crown and Anchor” restaurant. The service was excellent, Poly and Chondo helped us and they made sure we had a great visit and we did. They both were friendly, and very professional! The food was great and the service even better. We will visit again for sure.

Great Trip
Excellent service particularly at Fairmont Gold, especially from Pascoal, Rolly and Peter. The weather was perfect at this time but of year. Trips to the beach, historic St. George and the Dock yard gave us a sense of Bermuda and the food exceptional!

A Perfect Homecoming – Five Stars Aren’t Enough!
As a proud Bermudian who hadn’t been home in 14 years, I wanted my return to be special, and the Hamilton Princess made it unforgettable perfection from start to finish. From the moment I was warmly welcomed by Nikia at check-in, to the time I checked out with Nikia, every moment of my four-night stay was flawless. I’ve stayed in hotels around the world, but this was hands down the nicest, cleanest, most comfortable hotel room I’ve ever stayed in. And it had the most comfortable bed and pillows I've ever slept on. And the service? Five-star doesn’t even begin to cover it. Every staff member I encountered went above and beyond, and it’s clear that the team at the Hamilton Princess takes true pride in what they do. The culinary experience alone deserves its own review. Each restaurant at the hotel delivered exceptional food and drink, making it hard to choose a favorite. But the moment I checked in, I headed straight to 1609, ordered a swizzle, fish taco, and fries and with the very first sip, I felt it in my soul: I’m home. That first bite was perfection, and it set the tone for the rest of my stay and every morning's breakfast was perfect and set the tone for a Bermudaful day. The pool was a dream, the views of Hamilton Harbour were the kind of breathtaking that stops you in your tracks, and every amenity was thoughtfully curated and impeccably maintained. You can feel the legacy of Bermuda’s hospitality throughout the property. If Bermuda invented modern resort-style tourism, the Hamilton Princess has perfected it. The Hamilton Princess Beach Club on South Shore was the best beach day I’ve ever had. From the softest pink sand in the world to the warm, turquoise-blue waters that inspire, it was paradise. The beach club’s beautifully landscaped grounds offered endless views of Bermuda’s natural beauty, perfect for strolling or just soaking it all in. And the food and drink at the beachfront restaurant was top-notch. It was, without question, the best beach experience anyone could ever have on the planet. To everyone at the hotel: thank you for making my long-awaited return to Bermuda so special. I will treasure the memories you helped create. See you at Cup Match! If you’re heading to Bermuda, look no further than the Hamilton Princess. It’s not just a hotel — it’s part of the Bermuda experience.

Best server ever.
Jessa was AMAZING!! The best server we have had on the island, she is so friendly, knowledgeable and fun! She gave us such fun history and made our experience over the top! The princess is THE best place to stay in the island they are so thoughtful and what a classy place!! Love the woods
