Themed after Jamaica's fabled children's character Anancy the Spider. Borrowing from the witty spider made famous in Jamaican folklore, the new children's play area is modeled after a village concept with buildings ablaze with a mosaic of brightly coloured hues guaranteed to enliven the senses of young visitors. Anancy and his friends form the central theme around which activities and learning programmes planned for children aged three to 12.
Your children will have the time of their lives as they create puppet shows in Tacoomah Hut, enjoy cold refreshments in Patoo's Lookout, get creative in Artsy Kraftsy or listen to captivating stories in Tacoomah hut.
At the Anancy Children's Village, children will have the opportunity to learn more about Jamaica in a safe, fun and captivating environment.
The Anancy Children's Village at Half Moon, A RockResort includes shaded play areas, activity rooms, a wading pool, sand box, expansive outdoor play area with each activity supervised by a well-trained coordinator.
The Anancy Children's Village at Half Moon accepts only children that are fully potty trained aged 3 - 12. Families with children who are not potty trained can take advantage of our Nanny service and have nannies escort children to the Anancy Children's Village.
There is also plenty for older children too including tennis clinics, volleyball, nature walks, golf, squash, horseback riding and water sports galore.

Five Days in Paradise — An Extraordinary Experience at Half Moon ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Our five-day stay at Half Moon in Montego Bay was nothing short of extraordinary. From the moment we arrived, we were captivated by the breathtaking beauty of this magnificent resort. The lush tropical landscape, pristine beaches, crystal-clear turquoise water, and meticulously maintained grounds create an atmosphere that is both luxurious and wonderfully serene. The property itself is spectacular. Every corner seems thoughtfully designed to complement Jamaica’s natural beauty. Our accommodations were absolutely gorgeous—elegant, spacious, beautifully appointed, and exceptionally comfortable. The amenities were equally impressive, offering everything one could wish for in a world-class Caribbean resort. But as extraordinary as the setting and accommodations were, what truly distinguishes Half Moon is its remarkable staff. Without exception, everyone we encountered was genuinely warm, gracious, attentive, and accommodating. Their kindness never felt rehearsed or obligatory. Rather, it reflected a sincere desire to make every guest feel welcomed, valued, and completely at ease. We would especially like to recognize Toni Ann, our wonderful pool and beach server, who was truly one of the most special people we have ever encountered during our travels. Her warmth, kindness, beautiful spirit, and genuine thoughtfulness made an already exceptional vacation even more memorable. Tony Ann possesses that rare ability to make guests feel less like visitors and more like cherished friends. She is an absolute treasure and a tremendous asset to Half Moon. We will remember her long after the details of our vacation have faded. We have been fortunate to enjoy many beautiful destinations, but Half Moon offers something that cannot simply be created through luxurious accommodations and spectacular surroundings: a genuine sense of hospitality and heart. Half Moon Resort - The Best of the Best!!
Still our all time favorite resort when traveling. It truly feels like returning home each time we arrive at Half Moon. We love the staff, as they are by far the most friendly at any resort we've ever traveled to. Being recognized and called by name when we are on property is always a very special feeling. We stayed in Eclipse for the first time instead of Founders Cove. Eclipse was stunning with beautiful views from our Balcony. Everything about this resort and property is worthy of the awards Half Moon continues to receive. We are already trying to decide when we will be returning. I'll be reaching out to Alison in reservations as soon as we decide. She always takes such great care of us! Until next time.....

Our annual getway
This has been our go to for vacation with our friends! We were happy Half Moon had gotten most of their resort back up and in great shape from last years hurricane!! Special thanks to our Villa staff for making it a wonderful time!! Dexton, Karen, Cadilla, and the “rookie” Gawain were wonderful as always, individually, and as a team!! Be sure to ask for this team (unless it is our time next year!) they always make us feel like we’re are home and enjoy the laughing with us! The staff makes it a wonderful few days! We will miss you all until next time!! Mike

Finally a luxury resort with excellent service
I loved Half Moon resort. It is pricey, but the impeccable service and beautiful and comfortable accommodations are definitely worth the cost. I wasn’t quite sure what to expect as I couldn’t find a ton of pictures online, but was very pleasantly surprised. The resort is quite expansive. We saw a sea turtle hatchling release, had wonderful Jamaican food, experienced some Jamaican music and dancing and indulged in amazing spa experiences and of course loved the beautiful beach setting and infinity pool. Half Moon has the best fitness center I have ever seen at a resort! Great restaurant options. Highly recommend!
