Just an amazing hotel and made our holiday perfect
This hotel made our family holiday perfect. The staff are so helpful and always ensuring you have everything you need. The restaurants are such quality food, the buffet sometimes cold but they are cooking on a massive scale. They made my sons birthday special at the Japanese bringing him a cake and singing him happy birthday. The kids club was a massive hit with my 5 year old daughter who would beg everyday to go. They really are some amazing people my daughter cant wait to come back to visit them. My husband wants to say the biggest thanks to the bar staff in the kentanah lobby Isobel and Alejandor they are absolutely amazing people. The only thing i would suggest is the double beds around the main pool should be allowed for everyone use because in two weeks they were empty and my daughter would of made use of those. Honestly my favourite hotel and hoping to return in January 😀

Not normally one to write a review but felt i should as i always read before i go! One thing i should point out is if you have never been to mexico and experienced better you will probably be impressed. We stayed at the Bhaia Principe Akumal previously which was much better! Service was amazing. Pros: Lovely pool, nice temperature Surroundings beautiful. Comfy beds Al a carte Italian and Japanese Premium drinks included Sports bar pretty good for change Jenos the waiter in the Japanese was amazing. Cons: Service - booked a double room, given a single on arrival, had to change following day which took hours and hours, first told 12, then 1 then 3pm, finally got change at 4pm after complaining. When asking for coffee / milk as wasnt re stocked, told would be sent to room in 15 mins..still waiting. Some staff miserable. Big shout out to Roberto on lobby bar ..amazing. Service generally very slow...likely due to not enough staff, going for food by the time you get a drink you have finished your meal. Room cleaning, towels changed and bed changed, thats it! Floor or tops not cleaned for the whole stay, mini fridge / coffee not topped up, dirty cups left for 4 days before being refreshed. Dead roach on our balcony the whole stay. Food, repetitive, luke warm at best. Coffee awful, tried coffee machine, good coffee but broke most days. Al a carte food much better but getting booked is not great, you have to cue at reception at 8am, and all priority guest get first choice, i was 3rd in the cue many mornings and still no availablity or time available only really early or late, 5 pm or 9pm! Normal buffet you have to cue every meal to be seated, sometimes seated a table for 2 with only 1 cup/glass on table so have to go on a hunt for a second. Entertainment: same dancers everynight apart from one night which was The Jersey Boys which were great. Shows repeated weekly so if here longer than 7 nights you will watch the same show. Shows start at 9pm, then generally a disco / DJ at 10, always very spanish led with their music choices. No adults only sections, and tends to get lots of children / familys on a weekend who stay for few days. I appreciate these are picky points for most but if you advetise as 5 star then thats what you should deliver. Ive given it a 3/5 would give a 3.5 but not a 4! What is a beautiful looking place is let down by the service.

La Petit Chef.! What a restaurant - thank you Nester and America!!! :))) the food was spectacular, absolutely fab loved it loved it loved it!! The little guy running around the table was a legend, he was super funny and incredibly clever what a guy
