My wife and I had an awesome stay at the Grand Hyatt Scottsdale. The hotel is impressive, our room was large and comfortable, and the pool area was perfect for relaxing. The staff was friendly and made everything easy. We left feeling totally recharged. We would definitely come back.

Scottsdale dining experience
Celebrated a birthday at the Grand Hyatt. Everything was wonderful. Dinner at Tiki Taka was amazing! The food selection was good and the taste of the food was very good.

Great property. Great service. Great pool facilities. Not all restaurants open though - i chose this hotel because of richard Blaise’s tili taka restaurant but it was never or never seemed open during the stay. Club access ok - standard food. Better off using the other restaurants.

This hotel markets itself as a luxury resort and charges high rates and resort fees based on that representation. We stayed here over Thanksgiving weekend with children. Epic fail. We will never return. The pool heater was broken for the entire time we were here (over 5 days)! No attempt to repair it. Kids couldn’t use the “kids” pools or slide and were forced into the adult pool. The climber for the kids was gated off. There was pumpkin painting but they “ran out” after only a few minutes. The list goes on. Basically nothing special for kids to do. We were still charged $50 for a resort fee despite one failure after another. Our room was near the health club. We were awakened at 6:15 by the sound of a commercial leaf blower cleaning the tennis and pickleball courts. I went downstairs and was told nothing could be done about the noise that lasted over 30 minutes. Then evening came and we were subject to an EXTREMELY loud wedding (dancing and light show) right outside our window. It went in until 10:00 and the people didn’t clear out until after 10:30. The yelling by the DJ and the guests was so loud that we couldn’t hear the TV in our room and there was no way the kids could get to sleep. Front desk response when I said the kids could not sleep was that nothing could be done since they “cater to everyone.” Dirty cups and dishes were regularly left sitting on the tables. You had to clear them yourself if you wanted to sit in the lobby or by the pool. We were also double-charged for both self-parking and valet parking. Luckily we caught it before we left. A hotel cannot market itself as a “luxury resort” and have one failure after another and offer nothing but hollow apologies - especially for the prices being charged. Stay somewhere (anywhere) else!

Beautiful but loud
A beautiful hotel. Unfortunately, the main pool heater was broken. Nightly music is quite loud which led to poor sleep.
