The Fairmont Orchid and Island Breeze Productions announce a partnership that combine the Big Island’s finest cuisine with its most spectacular Polynesian production.
Every Saturday, guests are invited to gather for an evening that begins under the stars dining on culinary treasures from Hawai’i, Tahiti, New Zealand and Samoa on the beautiful grounds of The Fairmont Orchid at Plantation Estates.
Using a fusion of both traditional Polynesian and modern dance choreography, the dancers of Island Breeze retell the story of the settlement of the Pacific. Displayed in its fullness is the mana (power) of the ali’i (chiefs) and how each would be forever linked to the one star that guided them.

We loved listening to nino at the fairmont lounge last night and enjoyed our drinks. He is an amazing entertainer with a very cool vibe. Loved the local Henry Kapono songs and the Hawaiian melodies! Our waitress Kristina Quinn was excellent and also so kind to find me on Facebook to let me know that I had left my credit card there by mistake. She followed up too to make sure when I would be picking it up at the front desk. I so appreciated that. Also need to mention that the supervisor was so nice to check on us to make sure we had a lovely evening. Service is 100iii Wonderful evening!

Pacific Dream Photography
We did a photo shoot with pacific dream photography and they were brilliant! Cynthia Buckles was our photographer and she was so patient with our kids. We loved all the pictures!!! Stunning resort views to remember forever!

5 STAR EXPERIENCE
We travel a lot and we're impressed with Orchid physically and the attentiveness and warmth of the staff. EVERYONE was wonderful thoughtful and genuine aloha.

Shoreline fishing a must
We had a great time shoreline fishing with Lijah. After a quick casting lesson, we were on our way. It was fantastic weather, he was knowledgeable and detailed out the name and background of every fish we caught, and was very attentive. Could not recommend him more.

Best BIG ISLAND STAY!
The Fairmont Orchid is the place to go to enjoy all the best in The Big Isl! Beautiful waterfront location, amazing local food options, variety of room choices (Garden Views are gorgeous and much less expensive than Ocean Front) and lovely Hawaii hospitality. The Gold Lounge is so beautiful w/ views of fountains and ocean and delicious faire with attentive staff. Waterfront has lovely protected beach with great snorkeling, swimming or just a nice float/soak! Big pool w/ lots of chairs in shade or sun! If you don't have an Accor account, GET ONE! It is free and you get lots of fun extra perks!
