  EXCELSIOR LUXURY AT ITS FINEST

  I stayed at The Excelsior Luxury Hotel in Florence during Fashion Week, city was buzzing with energy, what truly made my stay unforgettable was the incredible Hospitality Ambassador, Massimo Parlanti. Massimo made us feel like the hotel’s top priority. From the moment we arrived, he greeted us warmly, took the time to understand our plans for Fashion Week, and made sure everything ran seamlessly throughout our stay. What really sets Massimo apart is how he connects guests to the soul of Florence. Massimo shared the fascinating history of the hotel, bringing the building to life. He walked us through details like the beautiful mosaic, the impressive glass ceiling, and even the hotel’s connection to the history of Napoleon, turning the property itself into a story rather than just a place to sleep. Massimo was attentive, always checking in and making sure we had everything we needed. Beyond his professionalism, it’s his genuine kindness and passion for hospitality that stand out. You can feel that he truly cares about his guests’ experiences and takes pride in sharing the heritage of both the hotel and the city. The Excelsior is a stunning property in an iconic location, but it’s Massimo who gives it character and warmth. Thank you, Stephanie, the Concierge and Front desk team!!   Absolutely loved this hotel - truly a 5 star experience

  We stayed at this hotel twice during our 10 day trip to Italy. The staff here are top notch - from the restaurant servers who were wonderful and attentive to my son, to the front desk and valet staff, who were so warm and welcoming. The location is perfect for going to/from the train station (across the street) and they provide a free shuttle to and from the city center, which is helpful since it’s a bit far from the main attractions. As a Marriott elite member, they also provided a wonderful upgrade to the the rooms and delicious welcome gifts. I would definitely stay again.

  Amazing Staff

  My daughter and I recently stayed at the Excelsior Hotel Gallia in Milan and enjoyed the guest service experience from the staff. What sets a five star hotel apart is not just the room, decor and food options, but most importantly the attentiveness of the staff. We experienced this special care at Excelsior Hotel Gallia from Belina, who delivered our dinner via room service. She was polite, friendly and very attentive. Upon noticing that I had ordered the incorrect bottle of water, natural instead of sparking, she offered to exchange it immediately. I felt bad as it was my fault, but she was gone and back quickly. She made sure everything was to our satisfaction beyond the food and checked if we needed anything else that evening. That was going beyond her regular duties. We really appreciated Belina's hospitality and service. The rest of the staff reflected similar friendliness and care. Moments like these make one want to come back. With gratitude to Belina and the dining staff!

  Amazing Hotel

  The staff at the Excelsior are phenomenal. I witnessed quite a few entitled guests and the staff handled the instances with grace and poise. My husband and I were there for our 30th wedding anniversary and had an amazing trip. The staff, the restaurant, the chef, the ice room - bar none; incredible stay.

  Magnigico!

  Everything was truly fantastic! The care of every employee to make sure we were happy and well cared for was the speciality that everyone has come to expect from The Excelsior! Special kudos to the Housekeeping, Breakfast Restaurant and Bell Team! We will definitely visit on our next trip to Milan. Grazie Mile!
