We enjoyed our stay staff was great! Elite club was a great perk! The ladies were all amazing and friendly! Food was great we we joyed all the specialty restaurants. Entertainment staff does an amazing show every nigh. Our housekeeper Rosalia did a great job and had an amazing attitude.kids club was a great help to keep little one busy for a bit. I would come back for sure

Outdated resort, all-inclusive food was very bland and basic. The resort was full of locals with families and children. Loud noise and an overcrowded pool. The room attendant did not properly clean our room that had a roach in the corner. The bar attender at the Timeshare area was very rude because we did not see his name tag since he was backing us and simply said "hey can we order drinks" laterally a few minutes later we were told that we could not use the pool area. There are no signs indicating the pool area was strictly for timeshare residents.

Enrique Vizcarra helped us at the lounge bar. He was great and he made our time here fun. The stay was also very good. The entire staff was very accommodating and made us feel at home every step of the way.

Customer Service is Excellent
The absolute best about the El Moro, in my opinion, is the excellent customer service. My wife and I dined at the La Concha every morning for breakfast. From having the doors opened for us to being recognized by our wait person, Daniel, to having our omelets prepared just the way be like them by Simon, every breakfast was a joy. Daniel had our coffee and hot tea to us as soon as he saw us arrive. He continually checked on us to make sure we didn't need anything else. Simon recognized us each day and knew exactly which one of us wanted tomatoes and which one didn't in our omelets. This excellent service started our day off perfectly. Another person that I want to mention regarding customer service is Jessica, one of the information desk persons. She greeted us when we arrived. She found out it was our 30th anniversary. From that point on, it was a daily surprise from her. She ended up ordering 2 different 30th anniversary cakes at 2 of the restaurants. She even purchased a cake for us and had it delivered to our room. We wanted to purchase sewing material from a local shop. She drew us out a map of the bus route and told us the best way to get downtown (fyi, we had said we wanted to take the bus). The front desk staff, valet staff, and housekeepers all made our stay pleasant. All greeted us with a smile and helped with any questions we had (especially when we needed to sort out pesos!) While the hotel and property is starting to show its age, it is still regularly maintained. We saw painting being done; elevator being repaired, etc. This is a timeshare property. Timeshares have pros and cons. This review isn't to discuss that other than to say, be aware of what you purchase. We purchased 20 years ago (this was out last year), we have been to this property 5 or 6 times and a few of the other El Cid resorts. Excellent customer service was at each of them.

Lots to do for the family
It was great. Alejandra in the elite club was very sweet and helpful. We highly recommend you find her immediately upon arrival
