    Great Events and Nightlife

    Everything was great, especially Jaime and the whole event staff. They did such a good job planning and coordinating the events and they were so much fun and he was there for our whole family to give us recommendations and to just hang out. Amenities and food were great too.

    Great location and friendly but room needs updating and food need improvement

    Average experience overall. Bathroom needs more privacy. Room needs updating. Leaking puddles of water either from shower or toilet so our feet was wet everytime we went in. Food os below average.

    Amazing Stay Thanks to an Outstanding Team—Special Thanks to Charlie & Jaime!

    Our experience at Dreams Sands Cancun was absolutely incredible, and while the resort itself is beautiful, it was the people who truly made our vacation unforgettable. Charlie and Jaime Ramirez deserve a huge and special mention. From day one, they went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of. Their professionalism, warmth, and genuine care for guests truly set them apart. They consistently checked in on us, made sure everything was perfect, and always did it with big smiles and positive energy. They made us feel welcomed, valued, and honestly like VIPs throughout our stay. Charlie’s energy, personality, and attention to detail made every day better, while Jaime’s leadership, kindness, and dedication ensured everything ran smoothly. Together, they made a lasting impression and were a huge reason our trip was so memorable. We also want to thank Magaly, Alejandro, Alfonzo, and Jesus for their wonderful service and friendliness. Each of them contributed to making our stay relaxing, fun, and stress-free. Because of this amazing team—especially Charlie and Jaime—we can’t wait to return to Dreams Sands Cancun. Thank you all for creating such a memorable and special vacation!

    Dreams Sands Cancun

    Beautiful area the water was my favourite part. You could walk for miles in beautiful blue water. Good was very good no complaints! One thing I didn’t like was with a master suite the bedroom had no door separating the living area where my daughter sleeps. No balcony was a complete downer for sure. We ended up doing an upgrade to the honeymoon suite and that had a beautiful deck. This was an expensive stay but also last minute.

    Not great

    Overall I would not go back. The ceiling in my shower kept falling due to an active leak. I requested a quiet room which ended up being right near the elevator and about the live music in the lobby bar. Food is just okay. As an all inclusive resort, you will not have the best food. It’s just not possible for the business model. But I did not find huge issue with the food. I have seen some people say the drinks are weak. I did not find this to be the case. Drinks were just fine. And you can pretty much order any cocktail under the sun. The overall hotel needs a lot of maintenance and/or repair. Most of it is just worn out. The staff is very friendly although overall service is very spotty. I would look for another hotel option before returning to Dreams Sands.
